The Iowa Events Center is the ideal facility for rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. Our venue provides the perfect setting for your big day and is conveniently located near downtown— just minutes away from local attractions. Let us take the stress out of the wedding planning process. We are a one-stop shop to ensure your day is the one you've always dreamt of. You will be partnered with one of our wedding professionals who will work with you throughout the planning process and even after your wedding. They will work closely with you to organize all aspects of your wedding. From booking to dinner menus, venue layout to the finishing touches, and so much more! We're excited to meet you!

Junior Ballroom
A one-stop shop for your big day.
With modern lighting and architecture, the Junior Ballroom offers 10,560 square feet divisible by three. A private entrance and an additional 6,930 square feet of pre-function space is the perfect area for cocktail hours, buffet stations, and so much more. A conference room and 8 additional meeting rooms are the perfect spaces for coat rooms or bridal rooms with back-of-house access to your main space.

Iowa’s largest ballroom at 28,800 square feet with airwalls allowing the space to be divisible by two. An additional 14,032 square feet of pre-function space offers the perfect area for cocktail hours, buffet tables, or a variety of other functions. Additional meeting rooms give bridal parties a private space to relax leading up to the ceremony or reception.
