“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

“You don’t come across someone with this much dedication, passion, craftsmanship, knowledge, and genuine love for their art often. Ashley is truly gifted in all things florals, and every piece she made for me, including my trials, had my jaw drop and moved my family to tears. She puts her heart into every flower she tends to, and you can see it in the intricacies of her work. She’s an artist, and these are her little masterpieces. I’ve grown to respect florals on a new level thanks to her. She knows so much about each flower (even their science names!), how to pair textures, coordinate colors, balance shapes and sizes—she’s making a work of art. So in terms of honoring your vision and creating something magical, trust Ashley with your whole heart. Now comes to the administrative work. Just when I thought I couldn’t love Ashley more, she created slide deck presentations (oh yes, you read that right) on what I was looking for/my inspo, provided updated proposals every time I added something new to my ask, triple-checked any time I made a change, and was extremely communicative, professional, and responsive. My fastest vendor when it came to email. And I’ll admit, I wasn’t an easy client. I went from having no wedding party to having 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I went from no ceremony florals to decorating the whole aisle. (I couldn’t help myself since Ashley has such reasonable prices I could actually afford my dream florals, but also once again, my trials were so beautiful, I couldn’t resist). I changed colors, visions, ideas, and emailed her more times than I can count over the course of many months, and Ashley followed it to a T and kept track of it all. Ashley showed up to a walkthrough at my venue that was super far just to get to know the space and guide where florals would work best, taking notes, asking questions, and going above and beyond. She didn't need to do that for us. She did anyway. She kept up with all my asks and updates flawlessly. And on the day, she nailed every single item from boutonniere to bud vase. Side notes: I had a rosary blessed by the Pope for my wedding, and Ashley handled it with such respect, integrity, and reverence. That says a lot about a person. My mom, who has worked in florals and crafts for a long time, was speechless when she saw the work Ashley created. When she looked at the internal workings and weaving, she noted just how much time she must have spent handcrafting my floral crown. When I was walking out with my trial bouquet, I literally had a stranger stop me in my tracks to ask where on Earth I got such beautiful florals and if he can get some himself. Every time we met, Ashley would bring a little bouquet for me, which was such a cute gesture. I secretly dried all of them to keep. And finally, Ashley herself. She is caring, tender, sweet, creative, and extremely hardworking. We believe she is blessed by God Himself lol. (But actually, though. She has a gift.) Her talent is unbelievable. I had a special request for a floral crown, and it was THE talk of the night. People would come over and poke it because they couldn’t believe it was real. Ultimately, if there were more vendors like Ashley, there would be much happier, less stressed brides in the world.
