I had my first shot at managing a sushi restaurant when I took over an empty section of the family restaurant and introduced sushi to my customers. It was a challenge that I will never regret accepting. It was fun, a lot of fun! I had the opportunity to work with some really talented and creative chefs. I quickly learned that it’s not just about having fresh fish anymore. Sushi dining has transformed into a culture. A culture built by imagination and creativity. With the help of GD and the support of my family, I took all that experience and fused it with my imagination and created Yooshi Sushi Catering and Event Production.

I have been cooking for others since I was 10 years old. Husband & wife duo. Spencer is your chef. Emily is your planner, designer & kitchen hand. We both grew up in the Auburn, CA area, but met in San Francisco in 2012. Spencer has loved food and the way it brings people together since he was a little kid, helping his mom in the kitchen. Spencer’s first kitchen job was at a french restaurant (Le Bilig Kitchen) in Auburn! Spencer is a classically trained chef and went to culinary school in Upstate New York, at the Culinary Institute of America.

In 2002 Matt and Yvette opened their first restaurant, The Supper Club. Since then, the Supper Club restaurant has brought people together to celebrate delicious cuisine. Weekend dinners enjoy a prix-fixe, seven-course menu that is skillfully paired with splendid wine.
