During the Faire season, more performers will be available, but in the off season we can still help you book entertainment. Several of our artisans will also provide you with special rates for products and services.

We had always wanted to move an old country church and renovate it into a living space. We found that historic churches do not come up for sale often and probably not acceptable to walk up and say “we want to buy your church”. Rob decided to design our own church and drew the plans for what was to become our first lodging venue called “The White House on the Hill”. We both believe that by following your heart, dreams can become your reality. Following the success of The White House on the Hill and receiving requests for additional space we constructed the newest venue, The Barn at The White House on the Hill. It is a 2800 sq ft lodging/event venue with an enchanting design of the french country fused with the grandeur and romance of old historic barns and the modern conveniences of today. Hi! M’Kensie here, the younger counterpart of this mother-daughter duo and also just so happen to be much of the story behind how the barn came to be. I was in my final year of college and planning a wedding for the Summer of 2012. I was so very blessed to grow up on our family farm, with a dad who loves to build things and who wanted to make all my Pinterest dreams come true. So as wedding planning began, construction started going up, and PLOT TWIST, the groom and I broke up…..that’s when our family realized God had much bigger plans for the barn. So with a little more time to dream, and much more time for construction, Lone Oak Barn was born. My mom left her teaching job behind, and I joined a few years later, neither of us knowing the community we would gain. Every couple, every family, every vendor, non-profit, and company we’ve hosted has become part of the Lone Oak Family. Our hope is that you’ll come on in, stay awhile, and most importantly, come back and see us.
