They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! “Two words best describe DJ D-Mac: Party Catalyst. I knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding mere moments into our initial phone consultation. His knowledge and passion for many genres of music was evident from the get go, he was both personable and professional, and he had a genuine enthusiasm for our event. As someone who had a strong vision of the vibe I wanted for our wedding reception, planning the playlist with DJ D-Mac felt like the true collaborative process of my dreams. He took my must play/do not play lists and ran with them, making additional suggestions and unique mixes. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping troubleshoot sound-related issues with the venue, making lighting suggestions, and even helping us find an excellent karaoke vendor for our after party. His personal style and the style of his DJ setup were sleek, cool, and a little retro, which only added to the wedding aesthetic. He provides access to an online portal (extremely cool!!) which gives you the opportunity to give him a general idea of the type of music you want and keeps things extremely organized...Now more importantly, he literally had the crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE time... and I’m not exaggerating. (People were texting me days later that they’re sore from dancing the whole night!) He is able to read the crowd and deliver. Its been a few months since the wedding and I STILL receive compliments about the DJ - how incredible the music was and how awesome his lighting work was. “Kelton from Marquee Artists is awesome - he killed it dj-ing for the clients, the dance floor was non-stop going nuts the whole time! His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field. Weddings have lots of moving parts and can be chaotic, but having vendors that are kind and willing to work as a team makes the day go a whole lot smoother. The couple had lots of requests for songs in completely different genres, but he managed to keep the party going with no awkward pauses and seamless transitions.
