“When we first looked into hiring a DJ, we thought it was as simple as picking someone to play music and get the dance floor going. But we were impressed with how much more there was to it, and Collins Entertainment had it all covered from start to finish! There were so many details that we had not considered, like doing a "farewell dance" towards the end of the night. They also offered perspectives that we had not considered, like the benefits of doing wedding party introductions since we had not done programs. Because there is a team of DJs and they take incredible notes, it also means that there is a seamless transition in case of any emergencies. Our original DJ had a family medical emergency, but his colleague was able to step in without missing a beat (pun intended). We highly recommend!”

“Shukhrat and his wife Rachel just shot our June 8th wedding and we couldn't be happier. They were amazing to work with and the photos are phenomenal! About the pictures: Shukhrat is versatile and very skilled. When we took our engagement photos he provided us with various styles of photos and editing, and then used our feedback to guide the photos he took at our wedding. He is also flexible. We got married in a city park and there were wayyyy more people in the park than we were expecting at 6:00pm at night. Without missing any of the candid details or true-to-life colors that we wanted, Shukhrat was able to frame the photos and/or alter the lighting so that the park goers were barely visible in the background. Both Shukhrat and Rachel are also very skilled at giving direction when needed, but letting you do your own thing the rest of the time. Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience in front of a camera—they gave us enough direction to feel confident, without making us feel stifled or overly posed. We wanted photos that felt organic and genuine, and they were really able to capture that. Working with Shukhrat and Rachel: The two of them were a dream to work with. Incredibly professional--very communicative, punctual, quick turnaround time on photos. And they are also just lovely people. You spend so much time on your wedding day with your photographers, it's really important to feel comfortable with them, and we certainly did. They brought both a fun, but calming energy, easing our pre-wedding jitters before the ceremony, and leaning into the excitement as the night went on. Although we hardly know them, they felt like friends. We are so glad we booked Shukhrat for our wedding!”

“Everyone needs a Wayne! This is what we have told everyone over and over again when showing our beautiful wedding and engagement photos. We sincerely cannot wait for the next time we have an excuse to work with Wayne. From the very start of working with him, he had such a thoughtfulness that no else else had. Throughout the whole process he had sentimental touches like congratulatory gifts, personalized business cards for us to distribute with our photo on it, souvenirs from our wedding day, etc. Friends and family loved how he was present but never in the way or distracting, and we agree. “It is hard to put into words the tremendous gratitude I feel for Christina and her team with Lovelace Designs. We had our wedding at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA – a non-conventional space that very rarely holds weddings. There were countless unique aspects of this space we had to consider while planning the event, and it is no exaggeration that Christina executed everything perfectly. In addition to her amazing skills as an event coordinator, she is a kind and friendly person who supported me through all the unforeseen challenges associated with planning your wedding. Christina consistently went above and beyond what was contractually required. One example of this excellent service occurred when we were securing a pipe & drape vendor for our ceremony. Christina actually drove out to Holyoke MA to see the pipe and drape in person since this was a new vendor she had not previously worked with. I am so thankful she took that trip as we realized that vendor could not execute what we envisioned. After describing her concerns to me, she immediately presented me with a solution in the form of another vendor who was able to provide us with exactly what we needed for our space. This is truly just one example of the hundreds of occasions Christina’s customer service was far beyond what we could’ve expected. From the first phone call I had with Christina, I knew that she would be pleasant to work with and up for the challenge. As time went on, I developed a profound appreciation for both her fabulous taste and her special ability to help me take simple ideas and create a seamless theme and elegant design. She was so wonderful to work with, my grandmother hired her to assist with my bridal shower and my mother-in-law also hired her to coordinate the 170-person rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding! “My husband Kevin and I got married in Simsbury, CT on 10/15/22 and had the most perfect day imaginable. This was in large part thanks to Isabelle and Unison. When we first started planning our wedding, we sought out to find as many LGBTQ vendors as possible, so finding Fairy Meadow (based out of our beloved neighborhood, at the time) was a true dream come true. I can't begin to express how easy the whole process was, from start to finish. When we first spoke over the phone, we shared our budget, a bare bones vision for our florals (dahlias, dahlias, and more dahlias!!!) and Isabelle took it from there. What we were greeted with upon entering the tent on our big day, was truly picture perfect. THE COLORS. The florals that Isabelle grows in her own backyard are truly mind boggling. Our guests are STILL commenting on how beautiful they are--especially because we sent a sample off to have professionally pressed (through a recommendation utilized directly from Isabelle). “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. Our guests and even our vendors are still telling us today, months later, that this was the best wedding band that they’ve ever seen. On my arrival, parking was easy and there were clear directions made for all attendees. When I arrived I was greeted by Justine, and assisted with my bags by others staffed by Justine to offer helping hands to my work area that was separate, clean, and spacious. My work area had amazing lighting already set up, a chair and table set up, and a personalized gift bag and refreshments waiting for me.
