We absolutely loved everything about our experience at Skyview. From the moment we toured the venue, our breath was taken away with the majestic scenic views of the Appalachia. Our decision was further cemented when we learned everything that was included in their wedding package, an incredible value that beat all of the other venues we visited by a significant margin. We don't want to ruin it for anyone, but honestly they could double their rates and it'd still be worth it. The support from the staff at Skyview (specifically Jenn, Hildegaard, and Ivan) both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding was prompt, thoughtful, and comprehensive. We have never gotten married before but we can't imagine working with a more professional staff that made our planning unbelievably seamless and stress-free. Our guests echoed our sentiment with rave feedback about the picturesque scenery, the epic food, the beautiful cocktail hour space, and the stunning and classy reception room. Skyview is a hidden gem that I hope gets all the recognition they deserve!

We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

We knew that the North Shore House would be our wedding venue from the moment we walked in for the first time. We fell in love right away with how beautiful it is, both inside and especially outside by the lake. We were already convinced by that alone, then we met Eric, Kelly, Emma, and the rest of the staff who were so kind, professional, accommodating, and wonderful to work with that we were even more certain. We then went for a food tasting and were blown away. The food is amazing. (Don’t just book a wedding there for the food, go to the tavern and have dinner there. You’ll be glad you did.) Every single aspect of the planning from day one was made so easy by the staff. They made us feel special, like we were their most important clients ever. The people there are just absolutely the best, that can’t be emphasized enough. Then there’s the venue itself. The grounds outside by the lake where our ceremony and cocktail hour were are absolutely gorgeous. It’s all very well kept and you won’t find a more beautiful spot to get married. Inside where we had the reception has all been refinished and is just stunning. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the whole place. It’s not glitz and glamour, it’s classy and elegant and perfect. There are also a dozen or so rooms on the second and third floors, which we loved because we were able to stay the night with our family and friends after the wedding. The rooms are all refinished recently too and are equally beautiful. Let’s talk food. We did all night hors d'oeuvres rather than a traditional dinner, and the food was amazing. There was passed food as well as stations, and never a shortage. Everyone there said the food was great, zero complaints. There was so much, I couldn’t possibly list everything we had so I won’t even try. But it was SO. GOOD. If you’re thinking that maybe this is your kind of place for your wedding, don’t even think twice about it. There is no maybe. It’s definitely the place. We can’t thank the staff enough for everything they all did to make our wedding perfect. We love that we can even go back, eat at the tavern, and book a room for an anniversary perhaps. We couldn’t be happier that we chose The North Shore house!

Ballyowen Golf Club was an absolute dream of a venue! The venue is located on one of the most beautiful photographic landscapes which is a bonus for photos. From the moment we toured Ballyowen, we knew it was the one. We had such a pleasant experience working with Julie, Silje, and our maitre d, Mike. Our guests are still raving about the venue and the food! Ballyowen will forever hold such a special place in our hearts and just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. From start to finish, Black Bear Golf Club was a dream to work with for our 10/14/23 wedding. Lee was the greatest wedding coordinator a couple could ask for. She dished out helpful advice and suggestions, answered all our questions, and was warm and friendly every step of the way. She was a source of calm on wedding weekend and we're so grateful for her expertise. The food at Black Bear is generous and delicious. Couples have so many tasty options to choose from and your guests will not leave hungry. The cake that Black Bear supplies from Calandra's is equally incredible. The reception area is spacious -- there's two bars, ample seating, and a large dance floor. The room for cocktail hour is a nice inside/outside space, with enough room for guests to spread out, enjoy each other's company, and take in the scenery. It poured on our wedding day, so we weren't able to use the outside ceremony area, but the staff did an incredible job setting up inside -- the extra decorations and touches they added made it feel just as beautiful. If you get married in fall like we did, prepare to be wowed but all of the pumpkins, gourds, mums, and harvest vibes. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the mountains -- our guests couldn't believe how breathtaking they were as the fog rolled in, and the gentle wisps of foliage sprinkled within. Net/net: Black Bear is affordable in terms of the wedding industry; the food is delicious and bountiful; the scenery is beautiful; and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've been replaying this wonderful day in my head endless since the big day. THANK YOU for everything!

My husband and I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the overall beauty and charm of Grand Cascades Lodge, which made our wedding day truly memorable. The stunning views, exquisite grounds, and the spacious Emerald ballroom were perfect for our celebration. Working with Jean and Sara was generally a positive experience, and their welcoming attitude during our visits meant a lot to us. However, I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the planning process. While our customization requests were accommodated, there were communication challenges, especially on the day of the wedding, with multiple points of contact. The food tasting experience was delightful, and we appreciate the effort in accommodating our preferences. Although some dishes at the cocktail hour were well-received, the braised beef dish didn't meet the standard set during the tasting. Unfortunately, there were a few issues during the weekend that impacted our experience: - The memory table candles were not lit until late in the reception, despite prior requests. - Our sweetheart table had a wrinkled tablecloth, affecting the overall presentation. - The florist's flowers for the cake were left with the kitchen staff, and despite assurances, they were not added as planned. - The shuttle service delay inconvenienced elderly guests who had to wait longer than expected. Additionally shuttle service that was promised during the after party did not work as agreed upon. While these points highlight areas for improvement, we want to emphasize our appreciation for the positive aspects of our celebration. We understand that events may encounter unforeseen challenges, and we believe that sharing our experience can contribute to enhancing future events at GCL. Thank you for your attention to our feedback.

I am getting married here 12.14.24 and let me tell you I can not WAIT! As soon as my fiancé and I stepped foot on the premises we knew, this was the venue that was meant for us! It's has a modern rustic feel to it, the food is grown on premises and I had some at an open house and it was absolutely delicious. Also for the price, and how much is included it wild, was another selling point for us. We get to design our own centerpieces, they have their own cute table seating board, and we get a day of coordinator that will help us set up and much more. I hate sounding like an informercial but this venue is a beautiful gem and the more I plan the more excited I am to be getting married there! We could not have envisioned or imagined a more perfect day. Even with the rain, everything went so incredibly well with the sun coming out as I walked down the aisle! Melony Enslin was our coordinator and she was kind, patient, professional and attentive. She made excellent suggestions, handled everything with so much care and was truly truly so great to work with. I can never thank her enough for her kind words of encouragement before our ceremony. Our reception was beautiful, it was everything we wanted and asked for. Everyone was so easy going about when we came to set up, helping us set up, coming up with plans for weather - they were quick and attentive and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We’re so very happy with our choice, it was magical and beautiful.

I would highly recommended The Pond at Triplebrook! The grounds are extremely clean and well cared for. The cabins they offer for overnight guests are darling and extremely clean. Ozzy's and her staff were overtime to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. They even helped set out our decorations. I can't say enough great things about this place. Weddings are stressful and Ozzy tries her best to take as much pressure as possible. This place is gorgeous and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Got married Jan 5th. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. All of our guest and my wife and I have absolutely nothing to complain about because the day from start to end was amazing. The food was amazing, everything was run well. The process was stress free. All of our vendors also had a great experience working with them. We had Hannah as our coordinator and Brenda as our bridal attendant, both were helpful in creating our perfect day. We are recommending David’s to everyone in hopes we can experience David’s as a guest. 10/10 for service, price, presentation, customer service and hospitality.

We are SO grateful to Camp Lindenmere for having the most beautiful venue and the most supportive, helpful staff! I knew I wanted a camp wedding from day 1 of planning, but most camps require a lot of DIY. Kyle, Elliot and staff are SO on top of planning ,guest bookings, timelines, day of coordination, doing all the set up (I mean we literally brought in our mug favors and they put the little “thank you” tags on, they put batteries in our taper candles, etc. I swear they don’t say no.) The food all weekend was incredible, the drinks were flowing (my husband and I were CRAVING the ribs we had at the reception for a full week after). Our guests were really pleasantly surprised at the “country club” feel of the summer camp - staff is always around on golf carts to escort guests as needed, there’s even a beer golf cart going around on Saturday. The waterfront was beautiful, everyone got a kick out of the high ropes course, people were playing volleyball under the lights all hours of the night. They told us the after-party would end at 1:30 but we were partying til 3:30 and no one was kicking us out. I’m trying to convince everyone I know to get married here so I can come back as a guest!

We got married at the smoke rise village inn and couldn’t have been any happier. It was truly our dream wedding and Kelly was extremely helpful from beginning to end answering any questions we had. The staff was very attentive and went above and beyond even getting drinks and making plates of food during cocktail hour for my grandmother. The food - oh my gosh our guests still talk about it to this day ! Even some of our high maintenance picky eaters were accommodated which I’ve never seen anywhere else. We cannot put into words how incredible our daughter and son in law’s wedding was this past Saturday night. The entire event was way beyond what we even imaged it would be. The Meadow Wood is an absolutely beautiful, elegant venue (inside and outside) with every detail accounted for. That theme continues from start to finish with all they do. The food was not only delicious but was presented in such a way you couldn’t help but simply just say “Wow". We are happy we took a moment to pause and take it all in - from cocktail hour displays, to main course plating, to desserts that went on forever …. – “Amazing!!”. We appreciate all the work, professionalism and hands on attentive approach from the staff (a special shout out to Juan and Becky!!). None of this could have been accomplished without them working together in the same manner. It was seamless. Still riding the high from our wedding weekend! We were absolutely floored by all the work Jen and Ally and the whole Stagecoach team did to make our wedding weekend spectacular! They have several different packages that you can choose from which allowed us to find something that truly worked for us. We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. Chef Jerrel hit it out of the park for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour/reception, and the brunch the next morning! Also because they have rooms upstairs, we were able to have our closest family stay and not have to worry about any travel! We couldn't recommend them enough!

We got married at The Mansion on Aug 10th and there are insufficient characters in this review box to capture our gratitude for what an impeccable place this was to get married. We initially chose the venue for ease of the location (we live a few blocks away). I hoped the food would be good, since we couldn't do a tasting, and just trusted it would all work out. THESE PEOPLE BLEW ME AWAY. The staff is awesome, from the Matre D, to the Bridal Attendant, to all the ways Jim and Nancy helped us tend to ever detail of the event, it was the most perfect day. The food was so delicious. Our guests are still talking to us about it weeks later. The cocktail hour was incredible. The main course was the best piece of meat I've ever had in my life. Everything was so fresh, and so delicious. My only regret of my wedding was that I didn't eat more than just a few bites of everything. I woke up the next morning craving the rest of my filet mignon, lol. We went with the "minimum" of everything included because we were on a budget, but it was all so abundant, generous and tasty. Even the dessert platters that came with the meal were amazingly delicious. The space itself is luxurious and beautiful. We had the whole venue to ourselves and the whole thing was just magical.
