Leah took lots of time to scope out the location and seemed to be absolutely *everywhere* during the wedding, at all the right moments. I didn't have to call her over once, because she was already there. She captured the emotions of the day, the little moments, the big moments, and made our day look like the fairytale wedding that it felt like. Once we got the photo gallery back (so quickly!) we relived the day all over again. We were tearing up and laughing at all the photos. She didn’t want to be in them, but wanted all her kids and grandchildren to take photos together. She was wonderful with the kids and showed so much patience. The photos turned out beautifully! Our second session was on a cliff that we hiked a short hike to have these gorgeous photos taken on. It was the fall (right when the leaves where changing) and it was just perfect! These photos were to makeup for our wedding day photos that we didn’t get to have done because we were lead to believe that my husband’s uncle would be taking them for us, which really didn’t happen as planned. We told Melinda what type of backdrop we wanted and she hit the nail on the head with the location she chose for us. She worked with our tough schedule and showed up on time. We didn’t know anything about posing for photos and wanted them to look very natural, she told us where to move, stand, etc. and the photos turned out just perfect! We had so many compliments on them! I’m a bit nervous when people “stare” at me. Makes me feel weird but I didn’t feel that way with her, she honestly made us feel so very comfortable. I didn’t feel as if she was judging me and she didn’t make me feel like I was doing everything wrong. She was so very patient. She’d ask if she could touch my arm to move me, she’d say can I move this strand of hair hanging in front of your face, and etc. she was just very helpful all around. My husband at the time had a mole on his head, he was very self conscious about it. He asked her to remove it if she could from any photos it shows in and she did exactly that and you could never even tell it was there! When we need photos again we will definitely work with her. She’s such a blessing to work with. Melinda is very reliable, professional, down to earth, knowledgeable, punctual, patient, and friendly!”
