Hi, I'm Kayla, a Louisiana Photographer that will travel anywhere! I introduced myself to photography by taking a trip to Israel in college I was selected to attend. I purchased a cheap camera for the trip, came home and was suggested to start taking photos. Well, after telling myself no, here I am! I love meeting new people and getting creative with a camera in my hands. Photography just so happened to fall into my lap God. I am also a college graduate from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with bachelors degree in finance. I know, way off from Photography, lol! I’ve now been photographing for 7 years. I love, LOVE on camera!

My style is creative, timeless, and classic. My goal is always for images to stand out to where the energy can be felt through the image. Photos should always be art, cultivating a timeless memory that last forever.

    Kayla Lazard Photography is an incredible wedding photographer that I would highly recommend to any couple. From the moment we first spoke, Kayla's open communication style and ability to really listen and guide us made us feel so at ease. She has an incredible talent for bringing visions to life, and the quality of her work is truly top-tier. In fact, her photography is so amazing that I think she should be shooting with celebrities and at all the red carpet events! After seeing my engagement photos, my bridesmaids underestimated her work by believing she was a white girl…they were even waiting in anticipation to see Kayla's work from my wedding day. And she did not disappoint - Kayla kept me calm and composed throughout the day, never forcing me to pose in any way just to get the job done. You can tell she puts so much love, thought, and artistry into every image. Kayla also has great rapport with the other vendors, ensuring we were all working together seamlessly as one team.     Kayla Lazard Photography was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding. Their communication was excellent and extremely fast, which helped put us at ease during the planning process. The quality of their work was breathtaking - Kayla recommended our videographer and together they were outstanding, making everything easy and simple and maximizing the little time we had. When our engagement photo shoot location was rained on, Kayla found us an indoor location at the last minute and our pictures came out great. On our wedding day, she did an excellent job capturing every moment and was always in the right position for the best photos. Kayla is truly the best and we are over the moon with how our wedding photos turned out.
