“Jorge from Sound Event DJs played at 2 of our son’s weddings and was absolutely fantastic, and we were fortunate to get him for my husband’s 70th birthday party. It’s now been a week, and our guests are still talking about the great music and DJ. Although we had chosen songs to play on Sound Event DJ’s easy planning website, only a good DJ knows which ones to actually play and when to play them. Jorge totally read the crowd, understood their culture (mainly Caribbean) and knew the timing…when to play the fast songs and slow ones, and when to mix them up to keep everyone on the dance floor. He also noted which songs brought back a lot of memories for us and made sure he played them. Kids, young people, old, and single filled the dance floor for every song throughout the night. It was never empty, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Monica, Jorge’s lovely wife and assistant, guided us through the early planning process, and was always available for questions.
