Welcome to The Stakeout at Outlaw Hill, a legendary Taos hideaway once frequented by desperados and outlaws like Billy the Kid and Dennis Hopper. As New Mexico’s premier venue, The Stakeout offers a reprieve from modern life and serves as an iconic location for ceremonies and celebrations. Perched atop Outlaw Hill at 7,200 feet, we provide an intimate setting with breathtaking views of the Rio Grande Gorge and Taos. Here, you’ll be surrounded by the same mesas and Sangre de Cristo Mountains that inspired the heart and imagination of Georgia O’Keeffe.

As a full-time wedding photographer, I work with venues all over the southwest and around the country. My experience with the Siouxzen and the team there was top-notch! Not only does the venue provide an incredibly unique southwestern vibe with gorgeous white stucco, wood beams on the ceiling, traditional adobe fireplace, and antique-feeling furniture throughout. The staff from the bartenders to the banquet team and coordinators of course were so willing to serve and assist the entire day. And don't even get me started on the views there. Sheesh. If you're looking for a boutique southwestern venue for your elevated event you'd look no further! Much love for this place and its staff.

Perfect for intimate events, small weddings, cocktail parties, creative workshops, dinners and much more. Bring your imagination and your dreams; we will work with you to make it happen! This historic adobe former home, and now art gallery and small event space, is a very unique and charming venue filled with character and bohemian history. We are tucked behind Geronimo restaurant in the heart of Canyon Road, Santa Fe's world-renowned arts district. If you are looking to avoid the hotel vibe and experience something authentic, you will love it here. We are perfect for smaller weddings. For dining we can seat up to 60 indoors (in two connected dining rooms) or in warmer months, with the use of our 800 square foot tent, we seat up to 80 or up to 100 under the trees.

My wife and I wanted a very intimate and cozy space for our wedding. Something unique for us and our guests. The Neptune did not disappoint, so many little details from the inside of the gallery to the outside add such a charming touch. The staff was professional and took really great care in keeping us organized for our big day. Highly recommend!

Manzano Mountain Retreat

In 1995 the historic apple orchards that put became the host to a new summer camp, brought about by the owner of Darnell Apple Orchard. The owner is an architect and builder, who designed and constructed the main dining hall, and five group cabins as summer-only buildings. A year later Scott and Spencer Garrett, the developers of New Mexico Sports and Wellness recreational clubs, purchased the Apple Wood Camp and renamed it Apple Mountain Camp. Their goal was not only to create a summer camp facility but to develop a high-altitude sports training facility. Their dream reached reality when in 1997 and 1998 swimming gold medallists Tom Jager and Janet Evans used Apple Mountain to host their Gold Medal Swim Camp. In 1999 the Garrett’s sold their recreational clubs to a national chain but retained ownership in Apple Mountain Camp. In 2000, Scott purchased all remaining shares of AMC and commenced a significant remodeling and expansion effort, renaming the facility Manzano Mountain Retreat.
