Welcome to The Stakeout at Outlaw Hill, a legendary Taos hideaway once frequented by desperados and outlaws like Billy the Kid and Dennis Hopper. As New Mexico’s premier venue, The Stakeout offers a reprieve from modern life and serves as an iconic location for ceremonies and celebrations. Perched atop Outlaw Hill at 7,200 feet, we provide an intimate setting with breathtaking views of the Rio Grande Gorge and Taos. Here, you’ll be surrounded by the same mesas and Sangre de Cristo Mountains that inspired the heart and imagination of Georgia O’Keeffe.

As a wedding photographer, I'm always inspired by breathtaking environments, and The Stakeout does not disappoint. With its million-dollar views and magical sunsets, it's no wonder New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment. Perched atop a hill, The Stakeout is a hidden gem offering stunning views through its floor-to-ceiling French doors that lead from the dining room to the back terrace. This venue is a one-stop shop, providing everything from an exquisite chef with diverse food options to incredible mixologists crafting perfectly curated drinks. They also offer decor and A/V add-ons to complete your wedding experience. If you're looking for an elevated high desert wedding, I highly recommend The Stakeout. They truly exceed expectations.
