Throughout the years I’ve documented intimate elopement ceremonies and weddings with over 250 guests. As an artist I crave a real connection with my couples. I look for couples who are truly in love and are willing to put their trust in my vision. My photographs are often described as warm, natural, romantic, and timeless. My name is Ashton. It’s lovely to have you here. I’m South Dakota-born but have spent the majority of my adulthood working as a creative based out of Amsterdam, NL, so I feel a bit like the city raised me. (For reference, I consider a three-mile walk for a cup of coffee a hike.) That said, I’m a fool for beautiful things whether they’re found on city streets or among the cornfields. I regularly swoon over color palettes, light and shadows, and intentional design.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. I'm Brittany, I live in Fergus Falls, Minnesota with my handsome bearded man Seth, our teenage daughter Ayva, new baby Otto, and our dueling pets: Murray the Boston Terrier and Amelie the Cutest Cat in the World (yes I'm a cat person and I'm not sorry).
