“So, our day was falling apart horribly. Sept 7th, 2024. Way before the day started, some bridal party got sick, our coordinator got fired two days before our wedding, our venue didn't have much of what we ordered for decorations. Our last hope was the DJ service, but honestly, we didn't have high hopes. But then, the DJ arrived. He looked serious and got down to business. We told him how it's gonna be a mess and we understand if things didn't go right....it was just the way things were. We had each other right? NO. Our DJ refused to accept our self pitty. He was the calm, understanding, and reassuring part in this disaster of a storm. He said.....and I quote, "good thing I'm trained in coordination and I'm fully prepped. No worries, we got this". I, as the bride.....cried. we didn't have anyone that gave us this reassurance or confidence....till we met the DJ. He took charge, organized the most perfect ceremony, and then just did what it took to get everyone else organized from guests, to venue, to catering company. All we had to do, was have our wedding. We spoke with the guy the week of our wedding. He kept talking about "vision". Heck, I didn't even see what they saw. But the DJ, must have known somehow, because he got that vision and did everything we needed, and wanted. Dinner was beautiful, and things got done! I didn't think a DJ did all that. Then the dance. He announced everything, so all were informed and orchestrated everything and we let it all go and really had a lot of fun and enjoyed everything he played. I'm sure our DJ wanted to have more fun than all the work we out on him, and for that, I'm sorry......but you did one heck of a job!!!!! You turned what was a disaster, righted all the other vendors ships, and sailed yours too! You did the work of multiple companies with just 1 DJ. Unheard of! Most DJs I've seen at weddings just stay behind their music stuff and speakers and don't move. Our DJ broke a sweat. You know what, I hope other have a better wedding experience than we did, but I can tell you, this is a comoany that knows weddings, understands the needs of others, and is very well versed in what they do. And for all that, I'm grateful beyond belief and worth every penny and more. This is the ONLY 5 star review I've given for my wedding and they deserve 15. What a blessing!”

“We first met Steven touring a different venue than what we booked and quickly got to talking about what we envisioned for our big day. We chatted about his DJ services and he never once pressured us to book him, he was giving us ideas as a genuine human being. A few months passed and Steven reached out seeing if we were still in need of a DJ for our wedding. Once we got our venue booked, we couldn’t say no to Steven. He was awesome from the day we met. He sent us a detailed planner to fill out for song choices, must play list, do not play list, etc. The whole process working with Steven was a breeze. He was SO patient with us as we changed our minds on songs, even after the planner was due. He is very reasonably priced compared to other DJ companies in the Milwaukee area. We only booked him for ceremony and reception music, but he has a TON of different things you can add on which is awesome (photobooth, uplighting, and so much more). The day of our wedding he was on time and extremely professional. Our ceremony music was perfectly timed. He kept our guests on the dance floor and played music on our must play list. He had fun transitions from song to song. He was dancing behind the DJ booth which every single guest enjoyed. He even danced with me for a song which was so fun! My guests commented on him throughout the whole night how awesome and fun he was (two weeks later and they’re still talking about how amazing he was)! I didn’t hire a day of coordinator and he took on the responsibility of releasing tables and so much more. I wanted multiple group photos of us with all our guests by family and friend group and Steven was great at announcing each group to make that happen. 10/10 would recommend Carter Events and Entertainment with Steven for your wedding day! “Our wedding was unforgettable and exactly what we wanted and huge part of that is thanks to Joe. We wanted to throw a dance party for our wedding so we needed a DJ who could play the hits and keep people on the dance floor all night long. We also wanted to ensure that our musical tastes were reflected in the music selected. We wanted this gay wedding to have a gay dance party! That’s exactly what Joe did for us. During the planning process Joe was very hands on and collaborative. He helped us plan the evening and identify different moments we wanted to have. There were a few songs that we wanted to play and he ensured that he had them all for the night. He even made custom edits to a few songs for us like for our entrances or dances. The night of he was extremely attentive and got the party started immediately once the dance floor opened. People were dancing the whole night long. One moment that stood out was when he played a Portuguese song “Bate of Pé” which got everyone doing this Portuguese line dance. That was of course a requested song by us for the night, but then he transitioned out of it seamlessly into “Dança Kuduro” which was not a song we ever discussed but one I love to dance to that just worked perfectly right after. I was in shock at how perfect that was. Transitions were something we were really particular about and Joe nailed ALL OF THEM! His lighting also helped set the mood and vibe on the dance floor. It synced up perfectly to the music. During a really special moment of “Let It Go”, the lights were all set to blue which really elevated that whole song and experience. The videos we have with that blue lighting is truly magical. He recorded our ceremony and speeches so that we have clear audio of those special moments. These will be great keepsakes! Joe did an exceptional job, more than we could have ever asked for. He understood the assignment and delivered”
