The Bluff, a sprawling lawn overlooking the verdant Hill Country, is a breathtaking site for wedding ceremonies. To make things easier for you and your guests, the location includes a parking lot and electrical outlets. The Barn is a refurbished horse barn with wooden floors, antique beams, string lights, and an expansive covered patio. Star Hill is a re-creation of a Texas Hill Country community typical of the early 1900s. All of the buildings have been relocated from around the state and carefully restored. Star Hill is centered around the historic Pontotoc Chapel, which has hosted thousands of public worship services and weddings since we opened in the beautiful Hill Country in 2004.

Built in 1921, the Martindale Schoolhouse is an official Texas Historical Landmark. The feeling of being inside a 100 year-old school building will transport you back in time to experience what a rural school was like over a century ago. The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall. Perfect for wedding receptions, dances, corporate outings, you name it... all hosted under the sky and stars within the walls of the original school gymnasium. There are also 2 dining areas and 2 living room spaces—one with a wood-burning stove and the other with a stone fireplace.
