The Sandpiper was designed to resemble an Erie Canal Boat. The Sandpiper is the most budget friendly of our two vessels. As a Downtown Detroit Landmark, the Guardian offers premier event space to host a variety of gatherings. This unique venue provides a beautiful backdrop to any event. It is guaranteed to exceed your expectations and impress your guests. The Guardian Building opened in 1929 as the Union Trust Building. This 486 feet, 40-floor building is made of almost 2 million custom “Guardian Bricks” and is sure to leave a lasting impression on everyone that attends your event. The amazing five-story Michigan Mural was created by Ezra Winter, and the Tiffany Clock provides a great background for photo opportunities on the Promenade.

The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum is an ideal location for weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, or any occasion that can be made even more special by hosting it in a U.S. National Historic Landmark. Docents are available to help your guests experience the rich history of the birthplace of the Model T, the car that put the world on wheels. The Freighthouse, next to Frog Island Park on the north side of Depot Town, has been used as a community center, hosting the Depot Town Farmers Market, a café, and various community meetings and events. The Freighthouse is part of the Ypsilanti Historic District, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Sites.

Detroit Sails offers a relaxing and fun experience on the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair. Cadieux Stage is a stunning, Art Deco wedding venue in Detroit, Michigan, near Grosse Pointe. A successful production studio, it offers a unique and truly historic setting for couples. Since 1937, many household names have stood its stages. Cadieux Stage offers over 7,000 square feet of main stage event space, accommodating more than 300 guests. The stage has white-washed infinity walls, controllable LEDs, and overhead cyc lights to make your celebration feel just like a movie. This space can be used for ceremonies, cocktail events and receptions with its open floor plan. Overlooking the sound stage is the Green Room, a retro lounge with a pool table, darts, a dressing room and a shower-great for getting ready or unwinding between the festivities.
