We are Carli & Hamilton Dixon, artists and business owners in downtown Dayton for nearly a decade, and residents of downtown for over two decades. The Brightside is located in the 905 E. Third Street building, which was 18,000 sq. ft. filled with abandoned clothes and trash when we purchased it. But over the last 10 years, we have worked to clean it out, restore all of its services, and renovate it to become Dayton's newest music & event venue. Strongwater Events is a dynamic industrial wedding venue housed in the middle of a century old warehouse in the Franklinton Arts District, just outside of downtown Columbus, OH. We have three distinct spaces all connected to each other to allow for many different sized weddings. We share the warehouse with Strongwater Food & Spirits and 400 West Rich artist studios and are extremely grateful to be a part of this thriving hub of creativity! We're located just minutes from downtown Columbus and surrounded by a vibrant community. The warehouse was originally built in 1911 and has been preserved and reimagined into the chic industrial space it is today. Boasting a historic vibe with a verdant urban outdoor space, this German Village & Brewery District venue was built in 1873 as a trolley barn for the original Columbus streetcar system. Our team does all of the set-up of tables + chairs including tear down. All we ask is that you gather your personal belongings. Our Vintage Warehouse + Barn Built by The Ohio Farm Bureau to house grain and farm materials in the early 1960's.
