Ballyowen Golf Club was an absolute dream of a venue! The venue is located on one of the most beautiful photographic landscapes which is a bonus for photos. From the moment we toured Ballyowen, we knew it was the one. We had such a pleasant experience working with Julie, Silje, and our maitre d, Mike. Our guests are still raving about the venue and the food! Ballyowen will forever hold such a special place in our hearts and just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. Do not overlook this venue, it’s truly magnificent!!!

Hi, this is Kurt and Stefanie Yaeger, now a happily married couple. Real people with a real review, and we can say we absolutely loved our wedding at The Outpost. The venue was magical, out of the box (which is perfect for us), and exactly what we wanted. Why? The mountain and lake views, the cabins, the privacy, the lighting, all of it amazing, but that isn't the main reason, which is attributed to the owner's personal service: Jolene, Alyssa, & Billy. They really went above and beyond, making sure our day was special, unique, and exactly how we wanted it. They were attentive and communicative leading up to the special day, recommended amazing food vendors, facility vendors, and made our day one that we could enjoy and focus on our guests. The venue itself is amazing! Mountain views in the background of our photos of us saying "I do". The cabins! Five cabins we used to stay in, used on the day, and put up the wedding party in to stay overnight. Each having a personal touch of music, all on vinyl records (so cool). Also, the freedom to make our day special and unique. My wife and I chose where the isle went, the chairs were, the food vendors placed, tables, tents, everything went were our imagination wanted to put them. So, our wedding was bespoke, a one-off wedding that only we got to have, which means you get to use the same facility but it's going to be different than ours, so it will only be yours. We're grateful for the wonderful memories. Our guests were over the moon. We can't wait to go back and spend a weekend where we got married. Where else can you get all that? Kurt & Stefanie.

We recently got married at the Tampa Edition and the entire process was wonderful. We had our ceremony on the garden terrace and our reception in the ballroom. From our first tour to tastings to planning calls, we received white glove service. The wedding weekend was incredible - every detail was covered and our guests felt so special. The space turned out to be so beautiful and the food was INCREDIBLE!! ALL of the staff (valet, room service, front desk, servers, bar tenders etc) were so professional and accommodating. They went above and beyond with so many small personalized details made the weekend that much more special. I am SO glad we chose this venue. It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

My wedding was the very first ever at The Ben and WOW, we were truly blown away by how incredible it was. The venue itself is simply stunning. The ballroom overlooks the water and has indoor and outdoor space. The ceremony space on the main level has a very cool, industrial feel that went perfectly with our vibe. We had our ceremony in The Studio downstairs, cocktail hour on the pool deck and our wedding in the rooftop ballroom. I think that what put our experience so over the top was working with the amazing staff at The Ben, especially Lauren and the events staff. We worked very closely with them for 9 months planning every detail of our 160 person wedding. Being the very first wedding at the hotel, the entire staff went so far above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely perfect. I am a very type-A, detail-oriented person and no matter how many emails or calls or texts I sent, they were so incredibly patient and kind and diligent, making sure to always address all of our concerns and going above and beyond in everything they did. They truly made all of our wedding dreams come true, and no matter what I asked for or how difficult it was, they found a way to make it happen. The chef prepared the most over the top amazing food for us and Bernardo, the general manager, made us feel like we were celebrities from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. On our wedding night, Bernardo arranged to have a photo of my husband and me from the wedding framed and waiting for us in our room when the night was over. It was truly top-notch, end-to-end, white glove service. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and my husband and I (and all of our family and friends) can't stop talking about it. It was the most amazing and incredible night of our lives. I wish I could personally thank each and every person who contributed to our wedding at The Ben--they have given us the most beautiful memories and we will forever cherish them.

Camp Lucy was above and beyond in every way! The space was gorgeous, the staff was so helpful and friendly, and the experience itself was so wonderful. Our account manager Laura was always so helpful and very sweet and friendly, she helped everything go so smoothly and was super at communicating and answering all of our questions! The venue itself was beautiful and the perfect mix of outdoor-indoor spaces for our ceremony and reception. The bridal and groom suites were gorgeous, and our food and drink service that morning was wonderful. The Camp Lucy catering and bar staff were also phenomenal the entire night! We stayed on-site in one of the resort suites, and that experience was also above and beyond thanks to the lovely staff. Aside from being a beautiful venue, Camp Lucy is also a wonderful resort with really cool historical points and a great (seriously, so good!) restaurant. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary!

The Renwick was the quickest and easiest choice my husband and I made for our wedding. We knew it was a beautiful place and we’d been interested in getting married there since long before we were even engaged but we didn’t know how helpful, warm and accommodating the owners, Sarah and Dane, would be. From the day we toured to our wedding and after, they’ve been amazing. They offer tons of helpful amenities plus different packages/price-points. We went with one of the higher priced packages and it was still totally reasonable. The package we chose allowed us to focus on the things we were excited about like decor while not having to worry about the things we were not excited about like set up and tear down. They also offer pretty much any option you could possibly want as far as bar service goes and you can bring in whatever catering you want! I could ramble on forever - I don’t know why people have events anywhere else!

My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

I would highly recommend Saint John Resort for a wedding venue. We are only in the planning stages, but we have been treated courteously throughout our process so far. My review is mostly going to be directed towards Molly & Linda at C@SR. We booked our wedding in July 2021, and our wedding day was July 2023. Over this time, we had multiple different point people in the club. As a couple who had put a considerable amount of time and money into our venue, this was extremely disheartening. That is, until Linda & Molly entered the picture. We were skeptical, because neither of them had been with the Club long before our wedding day, but their past experiences proved to be invaluable. I truly do not think our wedding day would have been so successful if they were not involved. My only 4 star scores are for our experiences before Molly & Linda joined. Leading up to the day Molly was constantly checking in, updating us, and on the day was a great resource for all of our family and bridal party. We are so grateful that you both found yourself at the club when you did. Given our experience with Molly and Linda, if they are still there I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. The views of beautiful, the event space is a great size, and the food was a fan favorite.

After visiting The Haylard, my then-fiancé and I knew it was the perfect wedding venue! From the location, to the food, to the staff, everything contributed to make it the most special day. Caroline is truly amazing and made sure every last detail was coordinated so that we did not need to worry in the slightest on the day of. She is beyond thoughtful and put so much care into making sure our day was perfect (even despite a last minute move to an indoor ceremony). Nothing missed a beat. Our guests told us countless times during and after the wedding that it was the best wedding they had every been to, that it was the best wedding food they had ever been to and they couldn't stop raving about Greenport and the Halyard. There is not enough space to say all the wonderful things about the staff and the venue that I would like to, but my husband and I could not recommend the Halyard more. It was a perfect day! We're ready to do it again!

We were looking for a unique venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors and a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. The playhouse was a great place that the kids could escape to to watch TV while their parents enjoyed the party. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) I appreciated her communication and patience walking me through things - planning a wedding myself was a task that was draining on me! One thing I didn’t realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn’t do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I’d like confetti, but she explained why she doesn’t allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn’t enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. We’ve started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn’t feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can’t wait to start reading her book. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

Chateau LeMoyne - French Quarter, A Holiday Inn Hotel Is an affordable venue for an intimate venue that will comfortably hold 75-80 guests. Our experience was fantastic from the start. I had no clue what I was doing but requested info from venues on the Knot. This venue was by far the most professional, their info “packet” isn’t a pdf… it’s a website! They were by far the most affordable venue. The space rental includes tables, chairs, high top tables, etc. (which is something you may find you have to ask about the hidden cost of). They contract with Messina’s Catering & Events and our Catering Manager Lauren was a dream to work with! Below I share, a portion of the email I sent to her and Lizzy, the Sales Manager at the venue: “Thank you again for a wonderful wedding weekend! I cannot tell you both what an amazing time we had. We got so many compliments about the venue and the food. Multiple people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Knowing that we chose not to do a lot of normal wedding traditions and kind of just did our own thing.... I think that really comes down to how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how wonderful all the staff were to all of our guests. Everyone from the valet to the front desk staff, the servers and bartenders, the setup crew, and both of you! Lizzy was so right about the Second Line, I loved it more than I thought I would, and our guests are still raving about it multiple days later. And Lauren you were so supportive of all of our ideas and I truly think I would have gone crazy without you!” Without a doubt one of the best decisions we made was to have our wedding at Chateau LeMoyne! We had our wedding at the Collins off Main in August and it was everything we could imagine and more!! The space itself lends you to have whatever vibe for your wedding you could want and the team at the Collins is really what makes the place. We were going for a garden lush elegant yet fun wedding and had the best time. We liked getting to choose all of our vendors, having flexibility with bar/food service, a different space for ceremony (at the Clocktower a block away), and most of all having an outdoor area that is tasteful and fun. We also loved the after-party feature and it was so easy to move guests there after the reception ended. Jess and the team were thorough with the design planning and took what was in our brains and put it into the venue seamlessly (from the couples perspective) working with the other vendors; as well as acting as day of coordinator being extremely helpful. They have decor which couples can borrow and also easy to collaborate with rentals for chairs, table ware, etc. We enjoyed staying in the suite the night before and after the wedding which made getting ready and pictures go smoothly. I would recommend the Collins off Main to anyone!!

The Madison Event Center was the perfect venue for our Wedding Day! From start to finish, The Madison team took such great care of all our needs and made us feel so special. The planning process was very easy and stress free because they offer an all-inclusive package and handle everything on site, so we didn’t have to do much. We enjoyed working with the Details Specialist, Riley. She made sure no detail was missed while offering great advice too! It was nice having Hotel Covington next door, we took advantage of the Wedding Room Block offerings, Suites to get ready in on the day of, and we even hosted our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Reception at the Hotel! Our family and friends loved the convenience of it all! When it came to the night of our Wedding, everything was truly perfect! I recently had my wedding at the Madison Hotel. I can say that my wedding was the wedding I always dreamed of. From beginning to end, the staff was very professional, especially my Maitre'd Joe Zimmerman and his assistant Jose. From the day of the rehearsal till the next day of the wedding they were fantastic. We held our rehearsal dinner at Rods and the food was phenomenal. The day of the wedding, the ceremony was held in the dreamy conservatory and the reception was in the grand ballroom. The transition went seamlessly. They worked very well with all my vendors, DJ, photographer, and string quartet. I had a decorator that they let her come in to stage early and when the conservatory and ballroom were available, they let her right in. They also provided us with a bridal suite for us the get ready in the day of. The whole staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely amazing at cocktail hour and the reception, we had no complaints! Two bars with top shelf liquor was available the whole night. At the end of the night we had a sparkler sendoff, the staff knew exactly what to do and it all worked out perfectly. We stood at the hotel both nights. The night of the rehearsal we had separate king size bedrooms and the wedding night they provide us with a complimentary honeymoon suite, which was amazing. I highly recommend the Madison Hotel.

I got married at the Coronado Island Marriott in April 2023. It was the most magical weekend of my life! It was an Indian wedding - 300 guests and had events both Friday and Saturday (3 events total), all held at the Coronado Island Marriott. The views from the wedding site are stunning - you get the water and downtown skyline as your backdrop, and people were stunned. One of our events (Sangeet - Friday night) was at the hotel's Skyline Terrace, and the sunset hitting downtown and the lights in the night were breathtaking. You also get a view of the Coronado bridge. Everywhere you go, there are views. Our guests were raving all weekend about the accommodations. The hotel boasts the biggest hotel rooms in San Diego, and they did not disappoint. They were extremely clean and modern. The biggest bonus was the hotel wasn't huge to where people felt overwhelmed walking from one side to another. It was intimate while still being spacious, and you got the vibe it was my wedding wherever you went in the hotel. The hotel is super close to the ferry to downtown, so when people had free time, some of them would go downtown for food or site-seeing, and come back. It was super easy. The hotel has a spa as well (my husband and I got a couples massage the day after the wedding), which is so tidy and relaxing as well. There's a park nearby, and flamingos on site which I know a lot of the kids loved watching. The Coronado Beach is a 10 min drive (which is where we got some of our wedding pictures done), and a few people spend time there. The hotel also has a wonderful/spacious pool area, which a lot of my friends used. There are also a lot of restaurants walking distance from the hotel, which was nice since each of the families had welcome dinners at separate places - guests didn't have to worry about ubering or walking far distances. There's something for everyone to do/see during down time at or near the hotel. The hotel at the restaurant is called Albaca, and served up some delicious food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all great), and cocktails. My husband loved Albaca's spicy margarita so much when we visited one time, that he decided to make it his signature drink! I know a lot of guests spent time there hanging out. I have to give a shoutout to Kheshini over at the Marriott (Director of Event Planning) who was with us every step of the way - from site tours, to signing, to helping us plan the event, to being there when it all came together. Even if we visited the Marriott unannounced and we let her know we were in town, she'd go out of our way to say hi. She is so friendly, and just the person you'd want helping run your event. She worked with us to try to get everything we wanted, and to make sure that we were happy (ex. I wanted a very specific watermelon vodka for my signature drink, and Kheshini made sure that they were able to find it and order it in time). She was also extremely patient with the questions that came from our parents (which was a lot!). If you're considering booking the Coronado Island Marriott as a wedding venue, I 10/10 would recommend to anyone. You will not be disappointed, and I felt like a princess the entire weekend. Everyone there is extremely polite and accommodating, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and happy on the most important weekend of my life thus far.

We got married here on May 3, 2024 and our wedding at The Palms was a DREAM! The venue itself is STUNNING and doesn't require you to spend much time or money on decorating. The beautiful tropical plants and flowers that are already at the venue truly speak for themselves! As a result of this, we didn't need to spend much money on flowers or decor for the reception. Our ceremony was on the beach, which, again, was stunning! Our cocktail hour was at the gazebo area, which has a beautiful, flower covered gazebo that is perfect for photos. Our seated dinner and dancing was at the Grand Tiki Hut, which once again, had a beautiful, tropical ambiance. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and we could not have been happier with how it turned out. It truly was a dream. The on-site wedding coordinator, Vanessa Ortiz, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was there for us every step of the way and on our actual wedding day, helped us with unexpected things (like helping my fiance unbutton the 30 buttons on my dress so I could do an outfit change for the dancing, haha). She is warm, kind and amazing at her job. Vanessa took great care with all of the decor we brought and set up everything to our exact instructions. We also worked with her colleague, Barbara, for our wedding tasting. She was equally as kind and wonderful! Speaking of the tasting, The Palms has a restaurant on-site called Essensia, which was the caterer for all of the food (aside from the cake). Let me tell you, my husband and I are foodies and we both agreed that the food was absolutely delicious! I cannot rave about this venue enough! Overall, it was a perfect experience and we were able to have our dream wedding! Do yourself a favor and have your wedding here! :)

The venue was beautiful. We loved the view of the city and the river. We loved that you could be inside or go outside on the terrace. The food was amazing! Lots of space upstairs in the getting ready suites for both the groomsmen (including a pool table) and bridesmaids. The food was great and we heard lots of positive comments about the slow-cooked brisket. Dawn and her team worked with me to help bring my vision to life. And surpassed it! We felt like family with how flexible and accommodating they were, from being able to drop off decor weeks ahead of the wedding and always being responsive to any questions asked. It was a truly memorable day, so any future winter brides be sure to check out the Inn!

The beach house was an absolutely amazing place to have our wedding. Kim and Margaret went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were taken care of both before our wedding and the day of. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality to us and our families while we were in town. They check in with us almost every day a week up to our wedding and the day of we’re very communicative and organized. They truly made the process so seamless and easy for my husband and I. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed and imagined it would be. We were the second wedding in the brand new Dunes Pavilion and it turned out absolutely beautiful! We can’t thank Margaret, Kim, and the rest of the staff at the Beach House for not only an amazing vacation, but a stunning, unforgettable wedding.

My wife and I booked the Presidential Suite for our wedding weekend, using the big and beautiful room for the bridesmaids getting ready area. Our guests also had a wonderful time visiting the restaurants and bars on site, and we even used License #1 as our after party venue (open at least until 1 AM). 5 stars for the Boulderado would highly recommend this Colorado landmark to any wedding or anniversary experience.

I planned a wedding here in less than 6 months. From start to finish hands down an incredible experience. Jolene, amazing, kind, and thorough in explaining details when showing us the venue and figuring out contracts. Ryan - amazing. Always available for questions. Quick responses to emails. Very warm and friendly. Entertainment Express - Evan, planned our wedding minute by minute so the day of was perfect. Music was amazing. I got so many compliments on how organized everything was. We were always on track with the schedule and everything went so smoothly. The food.. I am still getting compliments on how great it was. I felt like the quality of my wedding should have taken over a year to plan and everyone at Padua made this happen in 5 months. I can’t thank everyone enough. Amenities- parking is easy, bathrooms so nice and easily accessible, bridal suite beautiful! Servers, staff, bartenders all wonderful. Tammy, my day of coordinator who came with the venue was incredible. She was always there, always knew what came next, and new exactly what I needed before it was done. From guiding me through the day to fixing my bustle she truly was the best. Any couple getting married here will have an amazing time guaranteed. Ok, so I may be a tiny bit biased because it was my wedding, but it was THE BEST WEDDING EVER. All of our guests say the same thing! From working with Meesha who is phenomenal, experienced, warm and friendly, to the food and accommodations, we would not have changed a single thing. Every member of the team was so accommodating (for example, one of our signature drinks was coquito, the bar made it specifically for us using the recipe we sent, and it was delicious!). This season was very rainy, and while it would have been amazing to have the ceremony outside, Meesha’s team executed plan B without a hitch, and still just as beautiful. Everyone was so kind and friendly, they went above and beyond to make our weekend special, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Many thanks to: Dexter for lighting the bonfire on a rainy night, hanging our piñata, and all the other things he did behind the scenes! Meesha for her hospitality, guidance, support and wisdom during an event that is most likely a first for many of us! To Meesha’s team for all the hard work they did making the tent look GORGEOUS and keeping all of our guests happy! To the bar for making the most delicious specialty cocktail and keeping up with our guests. To chef Gary for his DELICIOUS food. Valerie, the captain, who helped everything go off without a hitch, the glue that held everything together. Her warmth, knowledge, and communication with us and Meesha was remarkable. I’m sure there are sooo many other people to thank and shout out, but this wedding was worth every penny because of this amazing team and amazing venue. The Hoxton Hotel is a true original as it is unlike any other chic hotel in all of downtown Los Angeles. I have had the pleasure of working with most of the staff, especially those in the event planning department, and at every level my expectations were exceeded. I found the Team Members to be great communicators, organized, and professional from beginning to end. I honestly could write a novel about our great experience with The Chocksett Inn, and Tianna specifically. From the beginning, Tianna was easy to work with, communicative, and so kind! She walked us through the entire process and was there to answer (and re-answer) all of my questions along the way. Not only does she represent the venue, but also acts as your day-of coordinator. I had asked if I needed to hire someone for this, and she assured me it would be all set. Boy was she right. The day of my wedding didn't go as expected (rain among other things) but she was attentive and ready for any curveballs. You would never have known that an inside ceremony wasn't Plan A. It was a day-of pivot that went seamlessly and beautifully. Tianna is truly so wonderful! In terms of the venue itself, we were so happy with our choice. The Chocksett has a lot of things included in their wedding package, their catering and accommodations are on site, and you can do the rehearsal dinner in the restaurant the night before (which we did!). This made it so much easier to keep everything organized, and our guests enjoyed the ability to stay on-site. If you do get good weather, the courtyard area is so pretty for a ceremony. We cannot recommend the MRB enough!! Our wedding weekend was absolutely incredible and we cannot thank the MRB staff enough for all they did. A few highlights: 1) Having the entire inn for you and your guests is such a special and unique thing that made us feel surrounded by love and excitement. 2) the logistics, back up plans, and execution! It absolutely poured on our wedding day and the team pivoted so incredibly well. At first we were so bummed to not be able to use the beautiful ceremony site outside, but the way that the team seamlessly converted the pavilion was incredible. 3) the FOOD! Our guests were astounded by the quality of the food, with many saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. This also includes the hotel breakfast- best bacon ever. And for anyone with food allergies (I am allergic to gluten) there is no better place to be. Not to mention the venue space is so beautiful and our pictures are stunning due to the swanky candle-lit background. Would highly recommend this venue for any event, but especially a wedding. It is dreamy!

We knew that the North Shore House would be our wedding venue from the moment we walked in for the first time. We fell in love right away with how beautiful it is, both inside and especially outside by the lake. We were already convinced by that alone, then we met Eric, Kelly, Emma, and the rest of the staff who were so kind, professional, accommodating, and wonderful to work with that we were even more certain. We then went for a food tasting and were blown away. The food is amazing. (Don’t just book a wedding there for the food, go to the tavern and have dinner there. You’ll be glad you did.) Every single aspect of the planning from day one was made so easy by the staff. They made us feel special, like we were their most important clients ever. The people there are just absolutely the best, that can’t be emphasized enough. Then there’s the venue itself. The grounds outside by the lake where our ceremony and cocktail hour were are absolutely gorgeous. It’s all very well kept and you won’t find a more beautiful spot to get married. Inside where we had the reception has all been refinished and is just stunning. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the whole place. It’s not glitz and glamour, it’s classy and elegant and perfect. There are also a dozen or so rooms on the second and third floors, which we loved because we were able to stay the night with our family and friends after the wedding. The rooms are all refinished recently too and are equally beautiful. Let’s talk food. We did all night hors d'oeuvres rather than a traditional dinner, and the food was amazing. There was passed food as well as stations, and never a shortage. Everyone there said the food was great, zero complaints. There was so much, I couldn’t possibly list everything we had so I won’t even try. But it was SO. GOOD. If you’re thinking that maybe this is your kind of place for your wedding, don’t even think twice about it. There is no maybe. It’s definitely the place. We can’t thank the staff enough for everything they all did to make our wedding perfect. We love that we can even go back, eat at the tavern, and book a room for an anniversary perhaps. We couldn’t be happier that we chose The North Shore house!

I had my daughter's quinceañera reception at the Courtyard Marriott West Los Angeles. We had over 150 guests. My experience with the staff and venue was incredible. I decided on the venue for a variety of reasons. It's a nice space, close to LAX for out of town guests, with ample parking on the westside of Los Angeles. The banquet room has an adjoining patio that makes the space inviting. The hotel has recently undergone some renovation that makes it a more posh experience. Alexandra Cantu, Senior Catering Sales Manager, was exceptional. She is very patient and responsive. Additionally, my guests raved about the food. The banquet room staff was also incredible and responsive to my guests. I would definitely recommend the courtyard Marriott West Los Angeles for your next event.

The Radisson Blu Fargo was amazing to work with for our wedding reception! We ended up moving our wedding date due to Covid and they were extremely accommodating for not only us but for our guests and their rooms as well. As we got closer to the day, their communication was very kind, clear, responsive, and detailed, making our reception go very smoothly. All possible planning details were considered and they did everything they could to make our day very special! How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
