“Brandon Despres was the perfect choice for our wedding!
We were looking for a DJ who would be fun, roll with some interesting requests, and get the party going without *becoming* the party and he did all that and more.
Brandon was really easy to plan with, had no problem splicing songs for our Mother-Son dance where my husband suddenly switched from a traditional waltz to the twist with his mom, and also deftly handled a table round-robin photo shoot that took far too long, a community Contra dance which included a 15 min instruction from a caller in advance, and so much more.
Finally, I will say that he was also a consummate professional. He somehow managed to keep a smile on his face the entire evening despite the fact that we were late getting to the venue due to pictures and the onsite coordinator for the location asked him to have people seated and then 20 minutes later very rudely yelled at him for having our guests sit down after cocktail hour. I honestly think I was more incredulous at her behavior than he was, and I can’t thank him enough for approaching the situation with all the grace in the world.
Brandon is a true gem of a DJ and you will not regret hiring him… our dance floor was full ALL NIGHT!”
