“I've been pushing off this review because I just can't find a way to put into words how AMAZING Rob & Lyndi were. Not only were they just all around good people and a pleasure to work with, but they were able to capture some of the best moments of our wedding...SO tough to pick our favorites! I came across Sugar Rush Photo + Video while scrolling through a million different wedding photographer websites and I was sold on their casual/super approachable tone and the great candid shots they featured. My husband and I typically shy away from the camera, but loved the idea of being able to see our guests at their best when they weren't looking. Rob & Lyndi were super responsive the entire time (note: we brought them on with a little over a year to go) and made the whole process easy for us. A lot of people wondered why we were flying our photographers in from Utah, but after the wedding and after looking at the photos, it became clear to everyone. They flew into SF for our outdoor October wedding weekend and it was like we were meeting long lost friends even though we had only exchanged emails. They rocked it at our welcome pig roast and it felt like they were part of the family. That Saturday, they split getting ready duties between two locations, got us ready for a first look in the park before our outdoor ceremony and made each of us look waaaayy better/way more glamorous than we'd ever looked before and captured some great moments with our family. For our formals, we set loose on the city and Lyndi captured what a coworker called the best wedding picture ever in front of the Painted Ladies in Alamo Square Park. We squeezed in a second location before heading into our reception just for fun! We kinda felt like fancy fashion models as we looked through our gallery. The reception was a blast and our guests kept pulling us aside saying how it felt like our photographers were just an extension of our friends and family and that they were just so fun to be around. Rob & Lyndi have such amazing energy and it oozes onto everyone they interact with. I highly recommend them for weddings, engagements (wish we had done that!) and anything else...especially if you're not that comfortable in front of the camera! They make you feel so at ease and like you're laughing with your most inappropriate and hilarious friends. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!”

“I can't explain how happy we were with Lizzie... the photos she took were absolutely beautiful. I was really impressed that she listened to exactly what we wanted - we definitely didn't want these fake posed photos you often see from weddings and she was perfect at fulfilling that and producing the most natural collection of memories. She really hung back in the background so you never felt you have a camera in your face all day and yet the final results were breathtaking. I haven't had the time to print them yet but I can't wait to have a collage up in the house. We were super impressed by the speed of receiving them all after the day too - within 3-4 weeks max we had already gotten the collection and I must admit I cried when receiving them since they are so beautiful! Sometimes I have some memory issues due to my health and having our wedding day documented so thoroughly and beautifully I can look back anytime and be reminded of how perfect that day was so I am so grateful. Honestly I would recommend Lizzie to anyone. “Y'all... I don't even know what to say about how much I love Laura and her husband, Drew. Not only did they capture our wedding day brilliantly, their presence actually made the day even better! Laura is exceptionally great to work with. Her paperwork is easy and prompt, she responds to emails quickly, and will even set up a virtual call to discuss whatever you would like. Her prices are fair for the amount of photos you receive and the quality of her work and service. Laura did our engagement photos and wedding photos. Scheduling our engagement session was easy and stress free (as was the wedding, but you probably already guessed that!). We met her in Miami since she was down there anyway. Laura was down for an adventure so we went to a botanical garden where we got eaten by mosquitos but Laura was positive and having fun the whole time. The photos are GORGEOUS and we used them for all of our wedding materials and website. We have gotten so many compliments on all of our photos! Laura and Drew arrived a day in advance of our wedding and let us know when they arrived so we had peace of mind. They were on time to our wedding (if not early) and stayed until they were contracted to leave, not a minute early. They were having so much fun at our wedding and captured so many amazing moments. As a note, they are super fun but also take their work very seriously and were busting their butts the whole day to make sure they caught every precious moment. Laura and Drew made us feel so comfortable. They are hilarious and go-with-the-flow but also make sure they stick to the timeline and are diligent about getting every picture you want. They arranged all of our bridal party and family photos, making sure they all looked good. Laura and Drew are also very sensitive to family matters. We have some complicated family dynamics and they handled them like champions, making sure our day was stress free. It is clear that Laura and Drew are committed to making sure the couple has a wonderful stress-free day. Laura carried around my extra makeup all day so I could blot my face and I'm pretty sure Drew served us drinks at one point because we were thirsty taking pictures. All of our friends are obsessed with Laura and Drew - we still talk about how much we love them several months later - because they are actually that wonderful. Laura and Drew are EXTREMELY inclusive. We are a same-sex couple and were so comfortable with them. All of their paperwork is gender neutral, which is not something I can say for our other vendors (no shade, it's just the truth) and it was sincerely appreciated. Some of our friends use they-them pronouns and Laura was sure to get this information in advance so she could make sure to call everyone what they prefer. We received a surprisingly large sneak peak of photos the day after our wedding. All of our friends and family were shocked at how quickly we got all those photos, but it's because Laura is an editing machine. We got all our other photos back well within the timeframe provided. There are literally hundreds of photos and every single one is perfection. Laura even did a little bit of photoshopping that I requested, which I really appreciated. Long story short, look no further for the wedding (or other event!) photographer of your dreams. Laura and Drew are truly one of a kind (well, two of a kind) and they will make your wedding day exceptional! I wish I could get married again so I can hang out with them more.”
