Kristy Tasca Photography is a Charleston-based Destination Wedding, Elopement + Portrait Photographer documenting authentic love stories + moments. With 12 years experience as a photographer and 25+ years experience as a coach, Kristy truly makes her clients feel comfortable and like the best version of themselves. Maya Angelou said it best, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style”. So, let’s get together, look cute, laugh, get to know one another and capture your love like you’ve never seen before.

Kristy’s vast experience helps her to quickly engage with clients, fully direct them through prompts so that their images truly feel candid and not forced. Being a former Division 1 athlete as well as gymnastics + cheerleading coach has expanded her knowledge of movement. She is able to make posing look effortless and fluid as well as find the most flattering angles. Additionally, Kristy has worked with clients both nationally and internationally. Kristy was so helpful with planning our wedding- we were from out of state traveling to Charleston to get married and she was pivotal in helping us plan out the logistics of the day. When our venue fell through, she immediately found us a better and cheaper option! She was professional and straightforward, made the shoot super easy by leading us step by step and communication with her was a breeze! Her pictures are top quality and we could not have been happier with our final prints! Definitely would recommend!!

Working with Kristy was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She was communicative with the process of wedding planning and was flexible with our schedule. When we told her about our change in our wedding date, Kristy was not only understanding but was also very accommodating… which we appreciated so much! The day of our wedding, Kristy arrived on time (6am!) and was able to capture beautiful sunrise pictures. She was so great with our big crazy family. She was also very flexible when we had to change up our outside venue to inside due to the rain. Kristy even stayed to take cute solo pics of me by the pool. We’re just so happy that Kristy really captured the happiness and fun of our special day. We’re so excited to share these photos and we will treasure them forever. Thank you Kristy! XO!

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! She did the most outstanding job capturing every special moment, and the photos turned out absolutely stunning. Not only is she incredibly talented, but her sense of humor and personality made the entire experience so much fun. She knew exactly how to direct us, telling us how to position ourselves to get the best shots, which made everything feel effortless. She was also so flexible—she even stepped in last minute to photograph our reception dinner. We are beyond grateful for her professionalism and how she went above and beyond. I highly recommend her!

When looking for a photographer, I had the worst anxiety until I came across Kristys Instagram page!! Immediately noticed she really captured the love that her clients have for each other and every pic looked authentic, genuine and true life which is what we were looking for! It was a perfect match! We chose Magnolia Plantation for our set and this location couldn't have been more perfect. Kristy knew exactly what we wanted without too much explanation. She made this day a fun magical experience for us both and the photos were a 10 out of 10!!!! We're both so glad we met this amazing woman and now our forever photographer. Oh and the photos were edited and returned super quick! I think we received them back in like 2 days! Wow just wow! You will not regret your decision so BOOK her! Totally worth it!
