“We had a memorable and positive experience with Rian as our wedding DJ. He stands out from the rest of the crowd with his unique style and personality (the 70s tuxedo helps!). Oddly enough his website, which is refreshingly quirky and interesting, made him a top option when we were DJ searching. From our initial call, he was very fun to get to know, and while satisfyingly honest about personal tastes, is still more than happy to fulfill your vision and preferences. He also offers uplighting as an add-on, which was an absolute steal compared to what our venue was offering. We worked with him a few weeks prior to the wedding to get an abridged cut of our first dance song, and Rian thoughtfully provided us several edits to choose from. For the reception, we created a playlist of starting suggestions, and he did a great job playing a mix of our recommended tracks with a blend of his own selections across a wide range of genres. At one point a cousin shouted from the dance floor, "How is this all music I grew up with!?!?!" amid the opening beats of Be My Lover (what a great pick, we didn't suggest it but wow, did it fit perfectly). We also come from immigrant families, and so we wanted to include some non-Western music in the mix. Rian had taken the time to dig up some classic nostalgic standards from our families' cultures and play them during cocktail hour. Every single "must play" was played, every "do not play" was respected to a T. We danced so much, we even forgot to get dessert. He and his assistant Sam were super polite and effusive and made our wedding night fly by. Thank you guys!”

“Having AMP Band for our wedding was an A Experience. For our wedding, we used the DJ/Band Entertainment for reception, along with the String Duo Violins for the ceremony. During the pre-wedding planning stage, Ana & Jimmy took the time to get to know us on a personal level and answered all of our questions quickly through emails and zooms. What I loved about the planning stage with them was their ability to incorporate our music suggestions, while also providing feedback on music through their expertise. On the wedding day, they absolutely crushed it!! During our wedding, it was a perfect mix of live and dj entertainment during our reception. “I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I hired Restless Voices for our holiday wedding. I have always loved a capella and when we decided to a smallish (40) person at home wedding, I knew I needed something that would be the right size for the venue while still being uplifting and engaging for the crowd that spanned generations. I reached out to Jordyn when we were all still dealing with COVID and they were so accommodating to my questions, worked with me on pricing, offered and helped me figure out sound for the ceremony, and provided DJ services. They were on time, dressed as promised, super flexible (it rained all day), and just all around nice. EVERYONE loved them and people I've never seen dance got up and shook their groove thang. As a side, the week of the wedding I had a family emergency occur in my immediate family and we were contemplating possibly postponing. When I told Jordyn she was so empathetic and supportive and while I'm thrilled we went forward, I can't say enough about how much her response meant. I continue to get calls from people who attended about who they were and have made at least 2 referrals. I am hopeful to have the pleasure of using them again for future parties!”
