“I worked in the Houston luxury wedding scene for years so when I first got engaged I messaged my dream vendors from the area which of course included TFOTK. We decided pretty early on that we were actually going to have a destination wedding so I messaged Sean, thanked him for the quote, and started looking for other bands similar to them in France. I then received an email from Sean telling me “not to count them out!” and that they would do whatever needed to be done to be there! That really set the tone for the entire experience I had with them, whatever we needed to be done they were there to support! Next thing I know we had a 5 piece band ready to perform in the French countryside. My personal and work life made planning take a back seat more than once and during that time Sean was always so understanding. We ended up telling them that we trusted them completely and to just make the set whatever they wanted, which is one of the best things we could do. They knew I loved Taylor Swift so they made a whole Taylor Swift Mash up. “The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception.
