South Shore Event Center, located in Howard Lake, MN, is a distinguished wedding and event space with a rich history. Originally built in 1904 as Howard Lake's City Hall, it has served the community for over a century. This iconic venue is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and proudly welcomes guests to host their memorable events. Conveniently situated in downtown Howard Lake on Highway 12, it is easily accessible, 35 miles from the Mpls Metro and 16 miles from Buffalo. With a spacious area of 5,000 square feet, South Shore Event Center offers breathtaking views of downtown Howard Lake and the South shores of the lake. The beautifully restored venue, completed in 2019, provides an ideal setting for indoor cocktail and dinner receptions with seating for up to 225 guests. The event center also features pre-function and outdoor patio areas, and elevator access ensures convenience for all attendees. The venue provides bar and linen services and is open to all caterers.

The Lowell Inn, located in the heart of historic downtown Stillwater, MN is just steps from unique shopping, attractions and the scenic St. Croix River. Established in 1927 and on the National Historic Register, the Lowell Inn offers 23 beautifully restored, private romantic guest rooms featuring today’s amenities, and 12 contemporary rooms in the new annex. The Lowell Inn also features a banquet hall as well as event rooms for smaller events.

The Grand Banquet Hall is located just a couple blocks from the St. Croix River in historic downtown Stillwater, MN! Originally a part of the logging days that Stillwater was established for. Our ballroom features beautiful stained glass décor, space for up to 350 guests, a generous dance floor and a long stunning antique bar.

Experience Loft 214, an original space with warm, rustic-chic charm. Built in 1895, this building was renovated in 2013 to become Loft 214, one of the most unique, rustic and charming venues in Minnesota. Loft 214 boasts 4,000 sq feet of event space! Loft 214 is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. Prior to the renovation in 2013 the historic building was used as housing accommodations for lumberjacks in the logging industry. The building is bursting with character and history yet it still represents the current amenities of the present. Clients have complete control over every detail of their event at Loft 214. The venue is versatile and functional with multiple spaces available including two VIP rooms. For centuries, the beauty and natural treasures of the St. Croix Valley have drawn people to the area which is now Stillwater. The first to call this area home were the Sioux and Chippewa Nations. Later, the first traders and trappers in Minnesota Territory settled here. By the mid 1880’s, railroading and river activity helped build the community into a bustling town of 13,000 people. Stillwater became the trade center for miners and trappers to the North, and farmers and lumbermen to the West. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad eventually saw a need for a freight depot. In 1979, the historical significance of the building was recognized and the Freight House became the first building in Stillwater to be placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

We’re a family of winemakers descending from the heart of Europe, making wine in the heart of Minnesota. Here in Millner Heritage Winery & Cidery, we have two main event areas, our pavilion which can easily seat 250 people, or our seasonal indoor dining area which can seat 100 people.
