With access to the world’s greatest musical entertainment, full-service event production, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, custom menus, and professional staff, this unique 4,834 square foot venue will exceed your expectations. Varsity Theater’s distinctive event space features baroque décor, inspired masonry throughout the venue, a performance stage with velvet red curtains, a twinkle-lit ceiling, and a grotto-esque award winning restroom. Varsity Theater’s historical roots in Minneapolis and its imaginative atmosphere offer a truly unique experience to each individual guest, making your event the one to remember.

Iconic Space Chalk Full of Inspiration!
This space is an icon in the Twin Cities and choosing to hold your event here will ensure it is a unique experience your guests will never forget. As an Event Designer, working in the Varsity Theater's space leaves me with no shortage of inspiration, from the raw brick and stones, the swanky velour drapes, and the candelabra chandeliers, the overall aestetic is so much fun to play with. Completely unique to other event venues, I cannot reccommend enough!
