“I had seen Jordan's photos on instagram and fallen in love with their aesthetic. I've been in traditional posed wedding photos as part of the wedding party and family in the past and I just never look like myself in them. I cannot pose and get very self-conscious if I know my picture is being taken. But having candid moments from the day really meant the world to me and that is what really resonated with me in Jordan's style; the documentary feel. Beyond this, there is this incredible eye for lighting and angle and capturing just the right moment that this duo (because it is Jordan and her husband, Trent) brings that I didn't find in any other portfolio I went through when looking for a photographer. She was super patient and understanding when walking me through the process on our introduction and every other subsequent call leading up to the day. We weren't going to be using engagement photos for the traditional announcements, but I had this idea of a wonderful series of photos at this location on the island where we were having the wedding that we could have as kind of our own celebration of our engagement and they were instantly on board and agreed to come out the day before to do those photos at that time. It ended up being a really lovely time for us 4 to bond and get used to each other so I highly recommend doing some kind of engagement photo session even if you're a photo-averse person like myself and the thought of doing more photos seems like the last thing you want to do. Jordan and Trent are so calm and relaxed that it made it really easy to be natural around them. And then on the day they were absolute rockstars. We were, as is surprising to maybe no one but us, running super late and they very gracefully helped manage our extended families and the venue to keep the pressure off us while still getting everything done they could. We showed up to the venue with 20 minutes to the ceremony and we somehow managed to get all our family photos (with toddlers and blended modern family combinations in the mix) and still be only 5 minutes late on the ceremony start. Then we snuck away for sunset photos and that ended up being this absolutely beautiful time we got to spend together during the reception, not awkward at all. And I truly think that's because of how natural and talented this duo are at their jobs. They were like the most lovely and helpful guests at the wedding, truly like having friends who are photographing the day for you. They made the day exactly what I hoped for, this beautiful, cherished time spent with family and friends in a magical place celebrating being all together and I cannot imagine my wedding without them there. I don't have the full album yet, but I do have the engagement photos and an absolutely breathtaking sneak peek of the day and they are so beautiful I almost don't believe it. Hopefully I won't need another wedding photographer (hahahaha) but if I do need family photos for the future they will be my first call.”

“My husband and I got married in June of this year. One of the hardest vendors for us to choose from in the beginning was a photographer. Once we met with Cheyenne, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She was so personable and kind from the first meeting with us. She did an amazing engagement photo shoot with us back in September of last year and gave us option to choose where ever we wanted for the location and also helped give suggestions to a location as there are so many to choose from! Cheyenne was also tremendous in figuring out our wedding day timeline. This was something my husband and I were both stressed about just making sure we had everything right, but she just asked us simple questions and did everything from there! This was so beyond helpful! She also shared it with all of vendors after she put the timeline together too. Fast forward to our wedding day - she was nothing short of amazing!! She got there early to check out the venue first and then was right on it with photos of the guys and then the girls! Cheyenne captured amazing photos from every single part of our day. I attached just a few that she captured. She was amazing getting all of our family pictures done after the ceremony too! Cheyenne also bustled my dress for me before the reception with ease and so quickly! This was beyond helpful and so kind of her as it wasn’t something she had to do, but she was so happy to do it! She was with us for almost 12 hours on our wedding day and had a smile on her face the entire time. She is so genuine and amazing at what she does. We are so thankful that we did because she’s the absolute best! One more thing that Cheyenne does that I didn’t see a lot of vendors do that was so helpful - you can do a payment plan with her and pay every few months before your wedding (depending when you book). This was really helpful as weddings are expensive of course so having this option really helped us plan and prepare better! Make sure you book Cheyenne! You will NOT regret it, I promise!”

“It was my lucky day the day I met the Animus Art team at a bridal expo and won their free engagement photo shoot. When my (now) husband and I met with them over coffee (the way to their hearts, I found later) to talk about the shoot, I hadn't intended on choosing our wedding photographer then. We ended up loving their work so much...but more importantly, we fell in love with them as people. They have such a passion for what they do and for the people they work with, and it shows through in every conversation, every laugh, and every photo. My husband and I stayed after they left to discuss it, and we decided that day to choose them. We had lofty goals for our engagement shoot. We wanted to do a Pixar-inspired theme. I'm a perfectionist and had a vision of what I wanted. What we got was so much more. For our wedding photos...they captured moments I didn't know I needed. Some of my favorite shots are candid photos only their eyes would have seen. And once we found out we were pregnant, we immediately turned to them to not only help us capture the maternity and newborn moments, but the birth process as well. That's how close we've become with Pedro and Burcu...they were the only people we trusted to be in the room the moment our first child was born. The photographs are more than I could have hoped for, and looking at them brings tears to my eyes. They were able to capture so many emotions, and those photos are a gift I'll never be able to repay. I can't recommend them enough, and there aren't words for how much their dedication to those precious moments in our lives means to me. I can't imagine a special occasion without them...not only as photographers, but now as friends.”
