“DJ Milk was literally the BEST DJ for our wedding. Not only did he know exactly what music to play the entire night to keep everyone on the dance floor, but he was incredible with keeping us on track with first dances, bouquet tosses, etc to keep the night flowing to have max dance time possible which was important to me. “The Lake string Quartet was so easy to work with they were so seamless coordinating with me, the officiant, and my coordinator. I told them everything that I wanted, and they gave me so much more. My one recommendation to anyone is have your handful of songs that you really want played by the string Quartet, but then trust the experts to also pick out songs that they would recommend. What I did was I provided them a list of songs that I really wanted to hear and then let the experts do what they do best and pick out whatever song they thought would match the vibes from the guests.”

“My finance’ had seen Class act at another family wedding, but it was before my time. He talked very highly about how much fun they were, but I still needed to be convinced. So we talked to them and then interviewed them and then it was very easy to decide that they were the right people for us. One of the things they let us know right off the bat was that they were working for us and even though other family members might have some ideas they would give us the final say in all matters relative to our big day. So we started out with their wedding officiant and DJ for an outdoor wedding. We wanted short, sweet and simple while having some amount of levity and romance and they delivered. The ceremony we just right. We then progressed to our social hour and dinner. Class Act moved the sound system they used for the ceremony in the outdoor dining area while keeping the larger system set up inside with the bar and dance area. The announcements came over both systems so that everyone could be part of the experience. At the diner we did some kissing games where the guests needed to entertain us and we judged their performance with the kiss. Everyone was laughing the whole time. They released tables and escorted the guests to the indoor buffet table. I cannot remember all the fun things that went on during dinner, but my guests really embraced the experience. Once the dinner was all done Class Act had the guests make two lines and we walked between them from the outside dinner tables to the dance floor then they all flowed in to watch us. We felt so special and supported. It was also brilliant because it got all the people into the dance area and the dance took off like a flash. So we danced all night it was and amazing time. Too bad I only get to do this once. Maybe we will have to have an Anniversary party. Olivia and Sam”

“We have mixed feelings about our experience with Instant Request. Our experience working with the company, overall, was positive, but in retrospect, we wish we would have paid the additional cost to upgrade to a VIP DJ. That way, we could have requested our preferred DJ based on their reviews from other couples. A little over 2 weeks prior to our wedding, we were assigned our DJ and had our phone consultation with him. Our DJ was very kind, friendly, and asked us thoughtful questions about us and our wedding day, but we had multiple concerns, one of which being that he had never been to our wedding venue, especially since we were using the DJ services during the ceremony and reception, and also, we would be transitioning to a silent disco at the end of the night (as required by the venue). We could tell that our DJ really cared about our vision and logistics of the wedding day, however, our impression was that he had a reserved personality, and we requested an outgoing and energetic DJ on our preference form. Due to these concerns, I reached out to Instant Request and spoke with one of the staff, who reassured me that they would reach out to our DJ to discuss the layout and logistics of our venue with him. On the wedding day, our DJ was professional and everything went according to plan. We appreciated that he was intentional about asking each person that was giving a speech and bridal party member how to pronounce their name and facilitated the shoe game during our reception. Overall, we thought our DJ was very friendly and skilled, but would have preferred a DJ with more of an outgoing and upbeat personality. We would still hire Instant Request, but would have paid the additional cost to upgrade to a VIP DJ.”

“I got married on June 15, and Mason was our DJ. He was absolutely amazing and made our wedding so much fun! I highly, highly recommend him. From our first meeting to the big day, he made everything so easy. We had multiple meetings to go over every detail, even things I hadn’t thought about (and I’m definitely Type A). So many friends and family members came up to me during and after the wedding to say how great he was and to ask for his information for future events. From the humble beginnings of spinning my K-Tel, KISS, ABBA and Foreigner records for my stuffed animals as a young kid in the 70s - to DJing for thousands at a Minnesota Wild event to playing campfire songs on an acoustic guitar and doing skits for 1 million people on KDWBs DAVE RYAN IN THE MORNING show, along with being a bassist of 40 years for cover bands Hairball, Arch Allies and RockGodz & original acts Rainmaker and 1000 Pleasures. Music has been my life's passion. It's been there when I need a friend or advice in life when I couldn't find the answer. I'm dedicated to making sure to share that passion with others. It's my superpower.
