Andrea and her team are the ABSOLUTE BEST. Even though we were planning a somewhat smaller and more informal affair, Andrea was a godsend. Leading up to the day Andrea's kind, patient, and detail-oriented communication was amazing. Importantly, she held space for us to be who we are and not pressure us to go in any direction throughout our planing- I cannot overstate how lovely that is. Honestly one of my favorite photos from the wedding was of Andrea leaning into our bird theme by wearing a feather headband! I did not have to make a single decision or give any direction on our wedding day. I'm telling you- GODSEND. We had no idea if anything went wrong- you can't ask for anything more than that (and we had a caterer, band, DJ and bar set up in a somewhat challenging venue! We found out later that they had to completely pivot where the food was being cooked and set up). At one point Andrea had to kindly redirect the band when they started playing the wrong genre music that we had requested- woof. We were able to simply relax and enjoy the day with our loved ones. We also used her bar services and recommended DJ (who was so patient with our very specific requests) and everything was just perfect- everyone was so friendly, kind, and professional. Andrea also checked in on us throughout the evening and made sure we were fed and had drinks! Even if you think project management and/or event planning are your strong suits, I'm telling you- HIRE ANDREA AND UNIQUE EVENTS. You don't need to be a hero on your wedding day.

We hired Johnnie based on the recommendation of my sister, who had used Johnnies services for her own wedding a few months prior. We initially thought we wouldn’t need a coordinator, as we were keeping the wedding relatively simple (limited vendors, limited decorations, limited headcount [100]). We decided to err on the side of caution and book Johnnies services as a “Day of” coordinator. All I can really say is I can’t believe how naive we were. Even with our “limited” needs, it would have quickly overwhelmed us and become a full-time job, which we already had. Johnnie took control of coordinating with the vendors we booked, helping us put together the final timeline for the day-of, made sure the venue looked amazing, made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole day, and then worked with the vendors to ensure the venue was clean and that anything of ours was returned to us later. She is the bulldog you want in your corner should anything even slightly go amiss, because she won’t back down. She is also just a generally wonderful and kind person who puts you and your vision at the forefront of everything she does for you. If you are looking for a kind, competent, and creative coordinator, Johnnie is your girl. 5 out of 5 stars.

I first heard about Abibi Bridal when I was assisting my best friend CakedbyMel assemble a wedding cake in New Hampshire in September 2023. Mind you, I was visiting my best friend in Boston for the weekend because it was her birthday. I live in New York, so I took a flight to Boston to spend time with her. My friend was hired to construct the wedding cake by Abibi Bridal because Abibi Bridal was booked as the wedding planner for the wedding. I was observing how Abbe was working with the vendors and the wedding party, and I was instantly impressed. I walked up to Abbe and told her; I am getting married next year, and I am going to book you to plan my wedding. Abbe said of course! I set up my consultation with Abbe and I booked her for her wedding coordination services immediately. I just knew Abbe and her team would execute. From when I booked Abibi Bridal at the beginning of October 2023, up until the day of the wedding, April 25, 2024, Abbe has been a blessing when it came to planning my wedding. Even though she was booked for wedding coordination, Abbe was so helpful, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and just overall amazing throughout the entire process. She knew exactly what vendors would work great with the vision I had. Abbe knows all the best vendors and has great relationships with so many amazing vendors, that you know the vendors will execute not only because they are dedicated to their craft, because of their relationship with Abbe and Abibi Bridal. Now let’s fast forward to the day before the wedding, Abbe and her team came down from Boston, and from the moment Abbe and her team arrived until the end of the wedding the following day, Abbe and her team were all hands on deck! When I say the level of professionalism Abbe and her team had is unmatched compared to other wedding planning teams I heard about. She was a shield from all the stress, questions, unsolicited advice, and energy that was heading my way. Words honestly cannot describe what Abbe and her team did for my wedding. She made everything so seamless and special. My advice to every upcoming bride is to book a wedding planner or wedding coordination because it will make the wedding planning process go so smoothly. Suzanna is a fantastic wedding planner. She was very communicative and receptive to what we envisioned and gave us fitting options to guide us in the direction we wanted to go. She was flexible and accommodating when we ended up changing our mind about a certain design element (especially the floral arrangements lol) and when it came to the day of, she delegated tasks expertly and got everything set up exactly how we wanted and then some. I don’t plan on getting married again, but if I did, I’d hire her again without a second thought!

Elizabeth is truly the best. Elizabeth was our full-service planner for our wedding at the Fernbank Museum in September 2022, and working with her firm, EKS Weddings and Events, was the single best decision of our entire planning process. We did not hire Elizabeth on a whim; I spoke with many potential planners and Elizabeth really stood out. From our first conversation, Elizabeth was professional, organized, and detail-oriented. When we first got engaged, I actually did not want a full-service planner and was instead leaning towards hiring a month-of-coordinator. My partner and I both have planning experience, and we wanted our wedding to perfectly represent us. Before working with Elizabeth, we thought hiring a full-service planner meant we’d be “giving up control” of planning. In reality, working with Elizabeth allowed us to host a perfect wedding while still enjoying the planning process. We were able to focus on the fun aspects, like tastings and décor, while she handled the not-so-fun parts, like organizing fine-print contracts and budgeting. A great vendor team is critical to any wedding’s success, and Elizabeth was the best leader. She has amazing industry connections and very high standards, so her recommendations saved us from extra stress and kept us on budget. Elizabeth’s industry reputation is stellar, and this became clear as we approached our wedding day. Several different vendors, including ones Elizabeth had never worked with before, raved about her organization and attention to detail. One vendor even said we were lucky to have the best planner in Atlanta, and we couldn’t agree more. Elizabeth went above and beyond for us. Like any good planner, she organized our budget, handled vendor communications, and kept us on task with consistent updates. But Elizabeth did so much more; when we realized our original venue (which we booked prior to hiring Elizabeth) could not meet our needs, she found us something even better. When Elizabeth saw that I was getting overwhelmed with the “little detail” decisions like place-cards and ceremony programs, she suggested an in-person meeting and worked through it with me. She even helped DIY a few personal touches, which is something we are so grateful for. My now husband and I have said, “Thank God for Elizabeth” more times than we can count during the past 18 months. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more, and we have Elizabeth to thank for that. Elizabeth and her awesome assistant Kat handled everything the day-of, allowing everyone else to simply enjoy the day. Many guests have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and that’s a testament to Elizabeth’s hard work, organization, and thoughtfulness.
