My wedding coordination journey began when my former boss asked if I could coordinate her wedding, having seen my skills in planning and coordinating events for work. The first time I worked as an event coordinator, I knew I had found my calling. In 2022, I followed my heart and began planning weddings, parties, and events as my career and I've never looked back! I have a wandering soul. I was born in Massachusetts, went to college in Vermont, studied abroad in Ireland, struck out to Utah and have now settled down in Southern California. Sarah has been planning events of all sizes for nearly 20 years. Her background in planning events started in the nonprofit industry in 2004, when she was responsible for coordinating the annual Shake it for Shelter fundraising event at COMPASS for Kids for several years. At Cradles to Crayons, Sarah oversaw all of the organization's signature events, including the 700-person annual Backpack-a-thon and the largest fundraiser of the year, the "Un-Gala". Sarah also worked at Facing History and Ourselves, where she planned their annual 900-person benefit dinner and advised their ten company offices on event strategy and execution.
