“Fernwood really is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and their rates very affordable! They were very responsive to my many questions, and very helpful on the day of our wedding. They even let us use an extra classroom for the groomsmen to get ready in. They were also really flexible. You can’t really go wrong here, and the garden itself can be your decor! We also left one item behind by accident which we were able to pick up a few days later. Lots of “areas” to choose from for your day, too. Only complaint was the poison Ivy growing along some of the pathways, which were already fairly narrow. We just used alternate paths and it was no big deal!”

It is beautiful, unique, personal and was everything and more that I could have hoped for. Our wedding as at the end of June and we were very fortunate that the rain held off and the temperature/humidity ended up being perfect. We had about 185 guests attend the wedding and I think everyone was too stunned by the venue to even care about the drizzle of rain that was happening. Not to mention, Amelia and her staff are absolutely amazing from the very beginning to the very end.”
