The Ellis House is a reimagined boutique Venue and Event space located in Fairmont, WV. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Carriage House was built in 1908 as part of the Watson family estate called High Gate. It was designed by Horace Trumbauer, architect of The Biltmore Estate. Your wedding will have the elegance of a by-gone era. The elements of character show through with a terra cotta roof and verdigris copper accents that are trademarks of the Tudor Revival Style architecture. The event can be held inside the Carriage House with up to 135 guests or under the high-peaked tent in the garden that can accommodate up to 260 guests.

Couples love the open air chapel among the trees and next to the ornamental pond. The large indoor reception space has floor to ceiling white shiplap. Guests love the 60ft outdoor deck overlooking the open air chapel.
