One of the best Venues in Brooklyn! Mariam and I had the best wedding night experience at Luo’s Events Space. We celebrated in April 30, 2024. All the staff were very professional, friendly and supportive. We were really nervous about our wedding night but everything went super smooth. Our family and friends gave us a lot compliments! We really had a great. You won’t regret choosing this space!

We got married at The Milling Room on 12/9/23, with our family and closest friends in attendance (109 people). The entire team did a great job throughout the event. We were thrilled with how everything turned out. It's difficult to find a restaurant on the UWS that can accommodate a traditional ceremony and serve 110 people for dinner. The Milling Room did it so well! We would choose this venue all over again.

3 West’s coordinator Marc and his staff went absolutely above and beyond for our wedding. They took my homemade centerpieces and made the solarium and the ballroom especially look truly breathtaking– but the hotel on its own is a true old New York style gem. Off-peak pricing with the room block was a great deal and worth every penny. The Gem Saloon hosted the surprise engagement party I threw for my fiancé and it was the perfect spot. Starting first with my communication with Nicole, who is the events manager, she was incredibly responsive and helpful, as we sent numerous emails back and forth throughout the planning process. Having someone so readily available and quick to answer questions is a huge perk in my book, I feel without that, that’s where you lose a lot of business from the start. Then fast forward to the day off, the Gem allows you to bring outside decorations and desserts (if you wish) and do not charge a cake cutting fee. Being able to put your own decorative touch on your event can be special so it’s nice that Gem allows you that option. In terms of food, I did place a food order with Gem from their platter menu. All of my guests said how excellent the food was - I personally can sway that the beef skewers were awesome, highly recommend! The bartender assigned to my event was also lovely, she managed the bar swiftly (had about 55 guests) all on her own and had a very generous pour. The last person of note was Bernard. He was the on site manager the day of my event and he was a sweetheart. He checked in every so often to see if there was anything he could do or that we needed, incredibly attentive. Then when my fiancé and I were waiting on our Uber to leave the event, he gave us each a free glass of champagne for one last celebratory drink while we waited. Overall, everyone went above and beyond to make this day special and my guests felt that, they couldn’t have more than enough good things to say. One even said, I’ve lived and worked in NYC my whole life, how did I never know about this place? So if you’re on the fence about Gem, don’t hesitate, they’re absolutely great. And as someone who can be a critic of overly positive reviews, I will give the one negative that I have, was just that during the event (and keep in mind I reserved the second floor mezzanine - which was great to feel separated and private from the rest of the bar) that between being higher up and having around 55 people, it did get a bit hot up there, but you can always request that the air be turned down! All in all, 5/5 venue and party

We had our rehearsal dinner at Popina for a group of 30ish people and had an amazing time! Our experience working with Popina was fantastic from start to finish. They worked with us and were easy to communicate with. Most importantly, the menu options were incredible and the food was delicious! All of our guests were blown away by the food we were served and could not stop raving about it. We used the outdoor garden space which was beautiful! Most importantly, when a sudden summer storm him, we were able to be protected by the retractable roof and our event carried on without any issues. We are so thankful to the team at Popina for helping make our wedding weekend a wonderfully special one!

My husband Dustin held our reception at Albert's Bar in April. My goodness I cannot begin to say enough about how picture perfect this venue is! Not only is the space itself beautiful and unbeatable, the team behind Albert's Bar are among the nicest and most helpful I've ever worked with. Their events lead Jenn was with us every step of the way, the manager Pete made us feel so seen & heard, and a massive thank you also to Abby for executing every detail for us on the day of the big event! The bar tenders and wait staff completed enamored my family & friends (and how kind were they to humor us in our excessive enthusiasm!) There are so many areas of our experience to rave about... Quite honestly, my family and friends are *still* waxing poetic about their big night out in midtown. This venue absolutely elevated the experience of everyone who attended. We had several high profile attendees from out of town who mentioned more than once that they were "completely blown away by Albert's". My guests who were local were equally impressed. This venue made us look as cool as we think we are ;) Run, don't walk, to secure your wedding space with Albert's. Smack Mellon is, to put it mildly, a wonderful venue. The brick interior and high ceilings (I believe it was an old boiler room dating from DUMBO's bygone industrial days well before West Elm) provides ample room for whatever you desire. We worked closely with Jessica, who was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She remained quite receptive to each of our many suggestions. Everyone at Smack Mellon was very accommodating, too, letting us drop off some items the day prior (this was an invaluable service amid standard pre-wedding chaos). Since the space is relatively blank, you can add to it, creating a wholly personal experience that properly reflects you and your event. And of course, there's the view of the Manhattan Bridge. If you're visiting the space, take the ferry. Easier than finding parking and nicer than the subway.

Our experience with CBH was nothing short of perfect! We had a small 54-person cocktail hour and reception, both in the Othmer Library, and we could not have dreamed of a more perfect space. The overall atmosphere of the library was incredible, and we leaned hard into the old-world feel of the space. Our guests were in awe when they walked in, and the fact that we were able to be involved every step of the way made it so special. CBH works exclusively with Purslane as their caterer, and all communication was done through Purslane, who are also amazing and make fabulous food. (We had many raving guests.) They also help arrange all the rentals, create the run of show, and ensure the night is running along as planned, which it did! A few things we weren't expecting: - The library itself is on the smaller side, so if you want to have dinner and dancing there, you're looking at 60 people tops. This worked out fine for us with plenty of room for a dance floor, but we did have to significantly cut our guest list. - Since the building is a historical landmark, no food or drink that could stain (red sauce, red wine, coffee, etc.) was allowed. This never bothered us, and none of our guests even noticed since we had a fully stocked bar and incredibly delicious food. - We were required to hire a professional day-of coordinator. This was not part of our budget, so be prepared if it's not in yours either. We ended up working with Mostest since they were the least expensive service we could find, and they were amazing. It turned out to be so useful to have our DOC there, so we're happy this rule was imposed, as it led to a seamless night! - The library set up a new exhibit a few weeks before our wedding in the Fransioli Gallery where we were to have our cocktail hour, and we did not know what it would constitute until a few weeks out. We ended up deciding the contents of the exhibit weren't very well suited to a wedding, and CBH/Purslane were incredibly accommodating, offering to put up pipe and drape or move the cocktail hour. We chose to move it to be in the Othmer and were so happy with that decision. Overall, CBH is a 10/10! Our wedding felt like a dream, and anything we had to sacrifice was far outweighed by the stunning space. We would highly recommend CBH as a venue if you're looking for a more intimate night with immaculate vibes!

Altesi and their team did an ABSOLUTELY phenomenal job with food at our wedding! Paolo is the nicest, most professional gentleman in the food business and went above and beyond to help us make our dream wedding menu. We went for so many tastings, just because we could, and we were obsessed with the food! It is some of the best food in all of NYC and such an affordable price. Our food was the most important thing to us at our wedding, we wanted there to be a variety, we wanted it to be yummy and we wanted there to be a lot of it so our guests would never become hungry. They nailed it! From the service to the attention to detail, everything was perfect and extremely affordable. It was also amazing to be able to have one vendor for all the food, servers, dessert and bar!

We are so happy we found Celestine and could host our wedding there! When we first came across this venue, we instantly knew that it ticked all of our boxes. The views of the Manhattan Bridge and the downtown Manhattan skyline are gorgeous, the Mediterranean-style food is fantastic, and the staff is professional and attentive. We visited several times before the wedding to sample the menu and treat friends and family to a great time, and we were consistently impressed with the quality and the service. Working with the Celestine events team, Nisrine, Kirsten, and Krystle, was a breeze. During the entire period leading up to the wedding, we were in constant contact and had several meetings, which made us able to relax throughout the process, knowing that everything was completely under control. We had our separate day-of coordinator who integrated seamlessly with the Celestine team, and Krystle, our Celestine coordinator, on the wedding day. Once the big day came around, we could not have been more prepared and at ease. Everything worked and turned out as beautiful and perfect as we had hoped! Many of our guests have said (and are still telling us!) that this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, with many of their compliments directed towards the venue, food, and staff. Among all the other wedding venues in DUMBO, Celestine stands out as a true gem. It has everything we could have wished for in a very intimate, beautiful setting that will leave memories for a lifetime and have us coming back for more!

The Dumbo Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, their communication was good, fast, professional, and reliable. The venue itself is beautiful on its own, with a versatile layout and a small but functional dressing room. We were able to decorate the space exactly how we wanted and choose the vendors that fit our vision. The venue was super easy to work with, and the pricing was great compared to other spaces we looked at. The location was also super easy for our guests to get to, and while the space was a bit small, it was just enough room for all we needed. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our experience at The Dumbo Loft and highly recommend it to any couples looking for a gorgeous, flexible wedding venue.

We had a beautiful wedding at the Prospect Park boathouse on 5/23/24! Everything went smoothly, thanks to the prep calls with Elena and the Purslane team. The setup of the venue was stunning, everyone raved about the food and the cocktails were so so good. We had the time of our lives - I’ll never forget the swans making a guest appearance too. Highly recommend for a seamless and fabulous wedding day!

Just a quick walk away from the 45th street R train, our taproom is a fantastic venue for weddings, after parties and engagement parties. Our bar offers locally made craft beer, wine, and NA beverages. As we have a New York State Liquor license, we are happy to accommodate cocktails by request and work out a beverage plan that works best for our patrons. Our taproom features 2,500 square feet of usable event space, perfect for a wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, welcome cocktail hour, bridal shower, engagement party or bachelor/bachelorette party. Our event team is happy to work with any prospects to help plan an unforgettable party experience. We currently do not provide food service on site, but would happily aid any patron with finding high quality catering in the area.

We were incredibly lucky to have our wedding at Five Boroughs. We loved the flexibility to make the event exactly what we wanted in terms of decor and food as well as the actual logistics of the wedding itself. We chose to get married and have cocktails on the production floor, then party in the taproom, with two food trucks at the curb. It was a great size for a 68-person event, although I can see it working for a slightly larger crowd, too. Five Boroughs worked with our wedding planner to iron out the kinks and help get the timing right, which was especially crucial as we were the first wedding they ever hosted. From an accessibility standpoint, it also worked out well since parking wasn't a challenge and the train is right there (and Melody Lanes is right there for afterparty considerations...). The space is incredibly photogenic as well. Just a lovely night to remember; highly recommended.

From our first call with the team, their communication was on point, effective, and efficient - they answered all of our questions promptly and made the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is big, beautiful, and incredibly accommodating. Our guests were blown away by the stunning industrial-chic space and delicious food. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. After our Upper East Side ceremony, our wedding guests took the ferry to Dumbo and enjoyed the cocktail hour at Bridgepoint Rooftop. And while they loved the Dumbo Loft for our reception, I think the rooftop view was the hit of the day. This space is all marble inside and truly beautiful. Between that and the city views, we did basically zero decor for this space. There are some nice bistro lights already set up on the rooftop patio. There was plenty of space for our caterers to set up several food tables and our bartenders to set up a bar table. We brought in some hightop tables for both the indoor and outdoor spaces. There was potential for rain so we did have to book a tent at the last minute (unexpected, awful expense), but we ended up not needing it! Just be aware there is no awning or anything in the event of rain and we knew we'd have too many people for just the indoor space. The BK Venues folks were absolutely fantastic and communicative. They gave us a deal for booking both the Rooftop and Dumbo Loft! Bridgepoint Rooftop was amazing, and really added such a fun and special variety to the events of the day. Thanks BK Venues!!!

Our guests enjoyed casual petanque play and everyone was very impressed with the unique setting and the overall atmosphere, service, and vibes. The staff were very helpful teaching guests petanque rules and gameplay. Carreau Club was very flexible and accommodating, with several different options for food/bar packages and court/venue buyouts. Dana was a dream to work with. While I hope I never get married again, if I do, I would be sure to come back to Carreau Club -- let's play petanque!

We hosted a Friday night welcome event for our wedding at Sound Fury Brewery and it was the perfect choice. We worked with Natalie, who was absolutely incredible - she and her team handled everything. They helped us build the menu, handled all staffing, and helped with audio set up. As our vision changed and the event grew bigger, they worked with us to adjust and made sure we had everything we needed. We can't recommend them enough for hosting events. The food was good (especially the pizzas), their beers are fun, and the ambiance is great. They even customized the little sign outside the brewery for us - it was so sweet! Natalie was a super-star.

My husband and I were looking for a high value, reasonably-priced venue in the Brookly area and we found it in DEITY. We were immediately impressed by DEITY wedding packages. We were able to find a package that best fit our vision and budget. It’s really hard to imagine that we could have gotten a better deal for our money anywhere else, especially when you consider that the tax is already baked in upfront without any hidden surprises. DEITY is amazing, we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our small and intimate wedding. The whole staff was very friendly and very accommodating, Anna our event coordinator was always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had. The food was excellent, the table setup was perfect with the family style setting. The Chef was so hospitable, he stopped by to make sure we were pleased with the food. The bottom line is, on the day of our event, DEITY showed up and executed flawlessly, from the decor, to the food, to the event management. We have been getting non-stop compliments from our friends and family about how awesome the wedding was and how much fun they had. We had our reception at the Pink Moon and it was incredible!! Rebecca was so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process and she and her team were so great day of. The space is really beautiful and just what we wanted for an intimate and lively party. It is so beautifully decorated, especially the floral mural, that it didn't really need much extra decoration from us. The sound system was great and easy to use too. The bridal party loved the suite upstairs to get ready and have a quiet moment in all the wonderful craziness. Really can't recommend the Pink Moon enough!!
