Sunset Ridge Venue was an exceptional choice for our wedding. From start to finish, the team was efficient, friendly, and thorough in their communication, helping us get everything figured out. Lenora, the venue coordinator, was particularly kind and professional, empathizing with the demands of wedding planning and going above and beyond to support us every step of the way. The venue itself was immaculate, with a clean, five-star aesthetic that perfectly complemented our special day. We could not have asked for a more exceptional experience and are so grateful to the Sunset Ridge team for making our wedding day truly unforgettable.

  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Rustic charm with elegance
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

I knew that we wanted a rustic wedding, but I did not like the idea of a barn wedding. I wanted something more elegant but still relaxed. My fiancé (now husband) came across the Yellow House online and set up a tour. It is absolutely stunning - built in 1857 and wonderfully maintained. My husband and I live in Cleveland, and do not a connection to Erie, but the two-hour distance was no problem for our guests, and Erie vendors are very inexpensive to work with - added bonus! I think our entire wedding would cost triple if we tried in Cleveland, but there is nothing like the Yellow House in our area. I would definitely recommend the Yellow House to anyone looking for a truly unique venue.
