Megan and her team were an absolute joy to work with, and the quality of the photos is nothing short of exceptional. Megan’s editorial style makes every shot look like it belongs on the cover of a magazine, which I absolutely adore! A particularly special touch was when they captured a few moments on Polaroids and handed them to us at the end of the night—it was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are a few highlights from our sneak peek album.

I’m Maggie! I am a fine art, documentary wedding photographer. I like to mix real life moments with a few naturally posed, timeless portraits, so at the end of the day you have a collection of memories that are authentic and that you can cherish forever. What drives me are real people, and real moments. That’s what I love about wedding days! It’s about the little moments that turn into big moments. The people who were there all along and will forever be cheering you on. Your next step documented, shared, and treasured. My images will always reflect the truth of your day, shot in a timeless and artistic way.

We booked Stepping Stones Photography for our May 2024 wedding and are so happy with our decision and the results. Maggie was such a pleasure to work with and truly exceeded our expectations. From before booking to even after our wedding, Maggie has been clear in communication on what to expect and always a listening ear. As part of our initial inquiry, we were able to meet with her via Zoom to get to know each other and right away we could see her passion for photography as a means to produce authentic photos. Our package included an engagement session, which affirmed our decision before the big day. Maggie did a fantastic job giving us guidance in how to pose and made me and my husband feel so comfortable, as two people that do not like photos being taken of them. Between the engagement session and our wedding, Maggie was there as a resource to provide timeline information and resources on how the day would go. We filled out a questionnaire to provide all the little details that she absolutely took into account on our big day. I have to reiterate how helpful the timeline was because I had bridesmaids, family members and other brides all impressed with the level of detail she provided and it truly was THE timeline we all referenced throughout the day which made things so easy for everyone involved. She kept the day moving without pressure and had a presence that did not make us feel like we had to be posed all night and could truly be in the moment. After the wedding, we received sneak peek photos in a very timely manner, which helped us relive the day during our mini-moon together when it was so close in our memory. We received our final pictures within the timeline provided, and are so pleased with the overall results. Maggie did a great job being able to capture the personalities of us and our loved ones. These photos are truly going to be cherished for the rest of our lives and I am incredibly grateful for our experience with Maggie.

Sokol & Co Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Grand Junction, CO for additional fees

Here's what you should know: First, it's pronounced Sokol like 'vocal'. We're Polish... like kraut-and-pierogi-at-every-family-gathering-Polish. Second, we're a husband and wife wedding photography duo that believes it's the little things that make the story come to life. From the knowing glances across a crowded room to the hand squeezes when you're about to walk down the aisle, you can trust us to capture your most romantic, candid moments.

Sav was the most amazing photog we could have ever been blessed with for our day! She was so great at capturing what was important to us, from our very unique engagement photos to our whimsical wedding photos. She listened to all of my little details and made everything come to life! She also brought the vibes on wedding day, made sure I wasn’t stressed about time, and made sure my lashes were always glued down and my dress had fashion tape where it was needed. I would recommend her to literally anyone, and hope she can continue to capture all the big moments in my life!

Leah Flores Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Grand Junction, CO for additional fees

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me. Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves. In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!

Hey there! Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

Awarded Best of Zola
Diana Marie Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Diana's communication style was open, professional, and timely - she was always checking in to make sure our day was going as we had imagined. The quality of her work is truly exceptional, with a clean, timeless, and emotional style that captured all the special moments beautifully. Diana knows the importance behind wedding photos - they aren't just a social media dump, but rather the memories we'll cherish for years to come. She reminded us to take in the little things, and that thoughtfulness really shines through in the final product. We couldn't recommend Diana Marie Photography enough for any couple looking for a talented, dedicated photographer to document their big day.

He is very accommodating and flexible and so fun to work with. Will definitely be booking with only him in the future!

Kendra Smith Weddings is filled with honest emotion and documentary integrity. Photographer, Kendra Smith, is inspired by editorial and fine art photography while passionate about documenting the story of you and your day in movement and light.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kendra Smith Weddings was an absolute pleasure to work with on Cody & Jake's wedding day. Kendra's communication style was timely, kind, and calm, which helped put us and the couple at ease throughout the planning process. She did a great job at communicating with us about the plan for the wedding day but was also able to be creative with the photography, even during a very windy ceremony. As a fellow creative, I enjoyed collaborating with Kendra, but appreciated that she could just run with it when it came to the photography. She was so lovely to work with and have around for the full wedding day!
