I’m Maggie! I am a fine art, documentary wedding photographer. I like to mix real life moments with a few naturally posed, timeless portraits, so at the end of the day you have a collection of memories that are authentic and that you can cherish forever. What drives me are real people, and real moments. That’s what I love about wedding days! It’s about the little moments that turn into big moments. The people who were there all along and will forever be cheering you on. Your next step documented, shared, and treasured. My images will always reflect the truth of your day, shot in a timeless and artistic way.

My philosophy on wedding photography is that photos aren’t the most important part of your wedding day. Weird thing for a photographer to say, right? But it’s true! My number one goal on every wedding day is that the two people getting married enjoy their day to its fullest—and then amazing photos are the byproduct of that. The framers and posed photos 100% have their place on a wedding day, but the best wedding galleries are filled with those amazing portraits AND candid photos that remind the couple of all the special little moments in between the posed portraits.

    Maggie was so wonderful to work with; she worked with my fiancé to surprise me for our engagement! She made the shoot so fun and comfortable, and she had so many great ideas for poses and backdrops. She sent us previews right away and asked for any feedback about editing to fit our vision! She was super flexible and responsive and gave us the most beautiful photos that were romantic and timeless. There were a few moments/shots I really loved after I saw our gallery and she included other options that were similar and/or color vs. black and white, which took some extra time and work. I’m so grateful for her making this such a special experience and can’t wait to use these for our save the dates and frame these for our home!

    Maggie is as kind as she is talented, and I cannot recommend her enough! Her work is very true to life, and she has an incredible eye for detail. I also appreciate that Maggie is patient and takes the time to put her couples at ease. Wedding days can be a lot - so busy and fast paced - and Maggie knows how to capture the most meaningful, fleeting moments in such an intentional and artful way.     Maggie is the absolute best!! She came highly recommended after photographing one of my best friend’s weddings. Aside from how beautiful our engagement photos turned out, her energy made us SO comfortable. It felt like we had known her for years! Now back to the stunning photos she gave us…she has an incredible eye for what makes up a beautiful photo with lighting, background, and posing us perfectly!
