Tipsy Tulip Designs was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the moment I reached out, Emily was so very helpful. She was unable to deliver to my wedding location which was two hours away, but volunteered to meet me at one of the venues I was touring near her location to deliver my bouquet. I didn't know Vermont very well, so I really appreciated her going the extra mile. The flowers Tipsy Tulip Designs provided were absolutely beautiful and fresh. They truly helped make our special day even more beautiful with their stunning arrangements. I highly recommend Tipsy Tulip Designs to any couple looking for a talented, reliable, and personable florist.

Nectar & Root

5.0

  • Serves Grand Isle, VT

Floral designs that feel alive and make your heart flutter. Creating floral art for weddings in Vermont and beyond. Booking 2024 and 2025. Seasonal ingredients, sculptural and ikebana inspired botanical art for your day.

I'm a wedding photographer, and when one of my clients tells me they've chosen Nectar & Root for their florist I let them know they've made the best decision- not only will they be in good hands with someone who is reliable and effectively gets the job done, but their space will be transformed in the most beautiful and unique way. I'm also a hobby cut flower gardener who spends lots of time looking for new and interesting varieties and Erin and I have connected over the past four years- sharing seedlings and advice. Erin always finds the most beautiful and unusual varieties and grows them in her garden, then utilizes them in her wedding bouquets. She also knows how much I love photographing her work and will give myself (and other photographers too!) an extra centerpiece to bring around to different backgrounds at the venue and create a beautiful work of art together for our clients to enjoy. Erin and I worked a multi-day event in Stowe this past year that was the biggest event I had ever photographed, and she blew me away with how beautifully she transformed both Friday and Saturday's venues into a meadow-inspired wonderland. Hire Erin, you won't be disappointed, and your flowers will look like no-one else's.

It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how absolutely beautiful the day was. Liz and her team were the central part of that. With a December winter wedding, many of the traditional floral options were not applicable, but with Liz's guidance, we realized very quickly that just because most flowers may not be in season, doesn't mean that it is still not an absolutely beautiful time of year. Liz and her team effortlessly draped beautiful garland throughout our venue, transformed the central staircase into something out of a storybook, and made a winter arch piece that it still hanging on our front porch as a stunning winter decoration. It was dotted with cinnamon sticks, and ornaments, and dried orange peels in a way that we could never have thought of. It was so creative and magical and made it clear that Liz had seen our vision and expanded on it in such an incredible way. Additionally, when Liz walked in with the bridal bouquets, everyone could not stop admiring and obsessing over them. With the gorgeous variety of blooms and greens, it was truly the most beautiful bouquet I could have imagined. Even more so than the pinterest boards we all obsess over. Lastly, Liz's professionalism was second to none. She made us feel so comfortable and supported throughout the process. She was even able to incorporate pieces of my gown that had been cut off during alterations to add an even more personal, and sparkly(!), touch to the bouquets. I cannot recommend Liz enough. She made my husband and I feel so special and seen during our day, and I hope that you are lucky enough to feel the same way!

We don't try to be on-trend, rather we are intuitive with the flower and our clients and let the flower speak to us.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel was truly an incredible experience. Aside from the marriage itself and celebrating with our loved ones, the floral design was the part of wedding-planning I was most excited about, so finding the right team to make it all happen was really important to me. From our first meeting, it was obvious how warm, talented, creative, professional, and enthusiastic Naomi is - she is so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, and it really shows in her work. Naomi and her team went above and beyond to distill all of my ideas and wishes into a final cohesive vision that was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Everything Naomi and her team created was stunningly executed - from the bouquets, boutonnieres, and the gorgeous chuppah at our ceremony, to the lush arrangements, centerpieces, and hanging greenery at the cocktail hour and reception, to the magical floral clouds that hung over our dance floor. Many guests told me that these were the most beautiful floral designs that they had seen at any wedding they’ve ever been to - I’m still receiving compliments about them months later. We especially appreciated Naomi’s attention to detail (she and her team made little bouquets for guests to take home at the end of the evening that everyone loved), and how conscientious she is about sustainability (she uses reusable vessels for everything and doesn’t use disposable foam products - something that can be hard to come by in the floral industry). Writing this review was challenging because it’s so difficult to find the words to properly convey how beautiful everything was and how grateful we are for Naomi and her team’s work! We wholeheartedly recommend Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel to anyone looking for floral design for their wedding or event, and we are so thankful to have had them by our sides on our special day.

Ashley did such an amazing job with my wedding flowers. She was also very responsive, helpful and friendly. I was so thrilled with my personal bouquet and all the bridesmaids, as well as all the center pieces. I didn’t have very good direction for her (I simply said I liked simple, whites and greens) and when she sent me what she was thinking, she put time and thought into it and the results were stunning. On my wedding day, I absolutely loved the end results, and all this while staying within my budget. I would so highly recommend Ashley and Dazy Florist!
