While I would have loved to begin my photography education and vocation in the glamorous studios of a household-name magazine like Vogue, my story started out discordantly. I was born and raised in a small town in Virginia. I left my town to go to college at Christopher Newport University, and again for graduate school at George Mason University.. I returned to my home town in 2009 to put down roots. Since that time, I have gotten married, and became a mother to two precious little boys.
