Mikayla came to the rehearsal so that she can see the area so that she was prepared for the wedding day. Mikayla stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process so she was available if I had any questions. Mikayla was open to any ideas that I had for photos. The day of the wedding, Mikayla made everything run smoothly when it came to the photos after the ceremony. When my husband and I said that we were hungry she had her second photographer run back in to grab us some appetizers. “We’ve said it many times during the wedding planning process and we’ll continue to shout it to the hills: hiring Kristy and her team was the best decision we’ve ever made and the best money we’ve ever spent. From the consultation and throughout the entire process Kristy was lovely to work with and incredibly friendly and personal but also always on top of everything. She flagged so many little details that we never would have thought of but led to a much smoother wedding day. Her detailed resources, templates, and documents were invaluable, but she was also flexible when I needed to make my own spreadsheets to keep everything straight in a way that worked with my brain. The timeline she created for us was a work of art and a thing of beauty and something I could have never done on my own. She included every single facet of the event from load in and load out for every vendor down to when we needed to bring our checkbook. Handing communications with vendors to her team in the last few months was amazing and definitely reduced our stress levels. While the timeline was delayed (due to another vendor), Kristy pivoted quickly and ensured that things got back on track and as close to the plan as possible. When we changed our mind on things mid-wedding (like if we wanted a more formal send off) she ensured that it was actually what we wanted but then changed to accommodate it. She also organized tear down of all the decor so that all we had to do was show up the morning after to pick up our belongings. As a queer couple, one of whom is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, Kristy and her team made us feel welcomed and affirmed for the entire process while vetting vendors to make sure they were LGBT friendly and listing our (and our wedding party’s) pronouns on resource sheets so that the whole vendor team was aware and misgendering was as limited as possible (and never by Kristy or her team). She (or a team member?) also recommended many amazing vendors to us including our amazing DJ who had the exact vibe we wanted (gay pop dance party) and ensured the dance floor was full and everyone loved the music choices. Kristy led our rehearsal like a (very nice) drill sergeant, which made it so much more efficient and effective than others I’ve been a part of. The ceremony went off without any major hitches and everyone (including 13 wedding party members, both of our parents, our officiant, and us) knew where they needed to be and when to do what. I was incredibly impressed and super grateful. It also ensured that I didn’t need to think or worry about the little details like making sure seats were reserved and that people started walking at the right time. My only regret is that we didn’t have the budget to have her team plan our rehearsal dinner as well. That experience versus the day of the wedding was a huge contrast. On the day of, I could answer every question with “ask Kristy” and she would always have the answer. As a very anxious and “type A” person I fully trusted Kristy and her team throughout the process which was wonderful for my sanity. “We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. “Oh my lanta. Where do I begin? If we had to get married again, my first task would be to see if Rigg & Co was available and if not, I’d change my wedding date. I couldn’t imagine not having her there! First, Kate listens to what you want. My husband and I really wanted a lot of candid photos of us and our guests. We had an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family so it was important to us that she captured them in the moment! Mission accomplished and more. Second, Kate is so talented and also just a fun human to be around. There’s no awkwardness or that “is this a good pose? Am I doing what I’m supposed to?” feeling because she makes you feel so comfortable! It was like she was just a part of the family and fit right in. She really was there at every moment - the rehearsal, up very early the next morning to go to the farmers market where I picked out my flowers, the ceremony, the dance, everything! Looking back, I’m extra thankful for her and the long day she put in because every moment was captured beautifully and exceeded my expectations. It even rained during our ceremony and the way she captured us during it was magical! I also can’t leave a review without mentioning the video she made! I was blown away by this. The video is so well done and thoughtful and really special to us as we got married during COVID and we had people who could not attend. “We found Madison because she was an Alumni from same school, UCF, as me. We booked her to do an engagement shoot (an hour outside of Orlando) and our photos turned out absolutely amazing. From that one interaction with her, it really felt like we knew her our whole lives. She is super nice, personable, and made us feel very comfortable right away. She also had so much knowledge about the area, and any questions that we had regarding the shoot. She planned and timed everything out so that we could get photos at one location, and then sunset photos by the beach 30 min away. And then when we were looking for photographers for our wedding (in Philadelphia), it was a no-brainer that we wanted to book her again to capture our big day. She came halfway up the coast and played a large role in making our day perfect. We planned the photography from 1000 miles away, and she was really communicative and helpful about the picture planning, and also just wedding planning in general. We ran into a timing issue with how the day was going to work out before the ceremony, and she helped us navigate that, and she worked to keep us on track throughout the night for the different photos that we wanted. She knew what to do & what not to do in the Church. She also worked well alongside our videographer. Ultimately, we are very happy with our experience with Madison, and the wedding photos she took turned out absolutely amazing.”
