  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,600

The Carmichael House, a wedding venue situated in Jackson, Georgia, carries within its walls a rich and full history. This historic mansion dates back to the year 1898. Today, this venue, which is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been renovated and restored to provide couples with a vintage and elegant site for their bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. On your wedding day, The Carmichael House provides you with both indoor and outdoor spaces for you to choose from. The interior, though it has been renovated, still reflects the original Queen Anne Victorian style. The main home is quite spacious and the perfect setting to get ready for your wedding day. The Event Hall is perfect for larger size weddings. In this space, you and your guests will be also able to relax as you enjoy the fireplace, loft, and bar. Couples and guests will also have access to the outdoor gazebo, veranda, and garden areas.

We loved our experience at the Carmichael house! As anyone can imagine planning a wedding can be pretty stressful, the Staff was very helpful and put me at ease with the whole process. They communicated clearly, helped me with any hiccups we had along the way. The venue was very clean, there was plenty of parking. The staff was very nice and pleasant to work with. They really did make our special day extra special.

Vinewood Stables

5.0

Newnan, GA
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Vinewood Stables' crowning gem is the original historic farmhouse, making this venue the perfect southern farm wedding venue. The Main House still has all of its original historic charms, while offering the contemporary amenities you will need. The Main House is available the day of your wedding for anything from a bridal luncheon to bridal party preparations and wedding party photography. From the interiors of The Main House to the gardens and grounds, the attention to detail is sure to impress you and your guests on your special day.

I cannot rate Vinewood Stables higher! From the decision process, through the planning, through our special day: Vinewood was an absolute pleasure to work with! We booked Vinewood for our wedding. I worked with Diane and Kia and could not have asked for better people to work with. Diane did a fantastic job capturing what I wanted for my wedding and advising me all along the process. Kia was the BEST day of coordinator - making sure everything was taken care of with grace. For those looking for a venue: Vinewood handles almost everything! We had to get the photographer and music (with their help honestly for music) and they handled everything else. I cannot recommend them enough for women like me: who work crazy hours and needed partners / a professional company to plan and coordinate a wedding that captures my and my husband's love. They have it down to a science and created the most amazing wedding. We are still getting compliments from our friends and family who joined us on our special day. They exceeded our expectations and made our special day even more special. 3

The Veranda Historic Inn

5.0

Senoia, GA
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,500

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Holberg Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Inn with nine guest bedrooms still has its original features: Georgia heart pine floors, ornate tin ceilings, elegant light fixtures and chandeliers, and eleven fireplaces. A beautiful garden, rocking chairs, and porch swings on the generous wrap-around veranda add to your journey back in time.

Where do I start ? First this review is long overdue! I couldn’t give a more glowing review for the Veranda’s staff and Lori Burnett, the coordinator/planner for our wedding. To say Lori is an excellent wedding coordinator/planner is really doing her an injustice. Lori was on point with every single aspect of our wedding. We were coming from out of state , which makes planning a wedding difficult to say the least. We had a few issues with our original caterer and had to switch it up virtually last minute and Lori was with us the entire time ensuring us everything would be perfect. She worked closely with all of our vendors to ensure the day was seamless! She had endless ideas that gave us the ability to have the look and feel that we were looking for on our special day. We went in hoping for the best but knowing , it’s virtually impossible to have everything go perfect on your wedding day. Thanks to Lori, the incredible staff and the vendors our day was absolutely perfect. Lori asked for a sort of report card of our day wondering what they could have done different or better and so on. Even this far out from that day I can not think of a single thing. Everything from our breakfast, made by the wonderful Ms Lavern to the last dance of the night ,was exactly how we wanted it down to the smallest details ! Lori really busted her butt the whole weekend and I’m sure in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. The Veranda was decorated beautifully, Lori was in super early getting everything ready the day of, coordinating the staff and vendors like an elite maestro preforming a flawless rendition of Mozart! Absolute perfection, thank you to the staff and a special thank you to Lori Burnett! Shawn & Michelle Koller
