601 Spring Event Center is located in the historic George T. Bishop Building at the intersection of Spring and Milam streets in downtown Shreveport. Our venue — rich with history and tradition — provides the perfect setting for any meeting, reception, celebration or ceremony. The building was constructed in the early part of the 20th Century and has had several owners and usages. One of the more notable was George T. Bishop, a successful automobile dealer who purchased the property in 1925. Elegantly refurbished with spectacular coffered ceilings, hand-carved woodwork, inlaid earthenware tiles, bronze chandeliers and solid wood cathedral- style doors, the Bishop Building was impressively opulent for Shreveport. Ironically, decades later another illustrious occupant of the building was the Ark-La-Tex Antique and Classic Vehicle Museum after which the building in the late 20th Century became known locally as the ‘antique car museum.’

Over 2000 sq feet it is a lovely place for any type of event. Most of our wedding are take advantage of our sensational package - only $1000.00 for three days - from Friday at 9am to Sunday at 3pm. Our 22-hour wedding day rental includes our 2800 square foot Event Barn that has 13 large, rustic round top tables that seat up to 10 guests each. Extra white tables and chairs are available if needed. There is a wet bar, as well as an attached well-equipped cold prep catering kitchen. The Event barn has a gorgeous deck overlooking the property for your ceremony or event extra dance and seating. We also have a stunning lakeside area, and a garden gazebo. That package comes with any outdoor ceremony site, and also a secluded cottage. Activities include recreation room with pool tables and large flat screen televisions, lake for fishing and/or swimming, and trails for hiking and biking. Outdoor games including volleyball and cornhole are also available.

Moondance Weddings and Events is a relaxed and casual space. We are on a 60 acre ranch that has a house, very spacious garage, and lots of outdoor space. The garage, where most couples book, is fully done with air conditioning for those hot Texas days. It is attached to where most ceremonies are held. The concrete walkway and area overlooks the property to make sure your wedding photos are beautiful, nature-filled shots. We can host up to 200 guests, so we are best for small weddings. We are also a raw venue, meaning we only offer the space and nothing else.

Deerfield Estates is a premiere wedding and special events venue in Waco, Texas. Originally an 1840's timber frame barn from Newton, Pennsylvania, this antique legacy has been restored into a beautiful, unique special event space, surrounded by a a ceremony rose garden and situated in a park-like setting of native Texas trees.

The town of Navasota was founded in 1854 and the tracks brought the railroad by 1859. One of the first buildings built here was a hotel, built by Ms. Louisa Loftin. She was quite the ambitious widow for a woman during the late nineteenth century. Conflicting research shows the hotel was either built as early as 1860 or as late as 1876. She soon met and married P. A. Smith and the hotel bore his name. At first, the railroad brought a great number of patrons, but, unfortunately, the Civil War brought the economy of Navasota as well as the success of the hotel, down, after only a few years.
