Toast is a stunning industrial CHIC venue located just a short distance from downtown Des Moines in Ankeny’s vibrant and upscale entertainment center — The District at Prairie Trail. The District Venue is an elegant wedding venue in Des Moines, IA. Our event space is perfect for Baby showers, Bridal showers, and small receptions. What started as a photo studio for the Farmhouse Photography crew, became a venue dream when the owner found a stunning historical location nestled in the heart of Olde town Altoona Iowa. Built in 1900, this gorgeous space went under some minor renovations to allow an open floor plan, ample light, and lots of farmhouse chic charm. We look forward to serving our bridal shower groups here in our brand new space!

The Alta House Event Center is a hidden gem conveniently located off I-80 and 37 minutes East of Des Moines. Conveniently located near several hotels within minutes of your venue for your guests, overnight accommodations are also available right on site. We are surrounded by plenty of photo ops, such as our on-site pond, heavily wooded areas, the Thirty-acre park, open fields, and breathtaking sunsets as your backdrop. We have several packages available no matter your budget; we will find the right package for you. The most popular package is our "Wedding Weekend Package," providing full access for 48 hours, allowing you the freedom to host rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and even brunch the following morning, all in one convenient location. The Cardiff Center at Fort Frenzy boasts a 6,500 + square foot event center / reception space that was specifically designed to transform into an event venue that comfortably accommodates 400 + people. In 2019 a substantial bar area and modern flooring as well as vestibule was added to the space. The lobby, also included with the rental, adds roughly 500 additional square feet of space. State-of-the-art technology & sound & gorgeous chandeliers, as well as friendly bar staff are among several of the offerings included with the space. (Not to mention all of the "givens" expected of an exceptional event venue, including clean restrooms and dependable air conditioning.)
