We were thrilled with Port 393 as the venue for our wedding reception. Throughout the planning process, the staff was extremely timely, polite, and attentive in their communication. On the big day itself, they helped ensure everything ran smoothly so my husband and I could relax and soak in every special moment with our guests. The venue space was clean, beautifully decorated, and very well organized. Port 393 handled the complete setup and teardown, allowing us to enjoy the entire event hassle-free. Wow wow wow. Incredible venue and absolutely breathtaking. You barely need to do decor because Of the Land is overflowing with natural decoration. Plenty of space for your guests to have a “choose your own adventure” wedding. For the dancers there’s plenty of space to cut loose, for those looking for more quiet catch ups there’s the bonfire pit, small chat circles and rows and rows of beautiful flowers and gardens to walk around. Can’t emphasize enough how huge staying on site at the farm flat was! Extremely convenient, spacious, beautifully decorated and a massive stress relief. You can tell Of the Land is a “labor of love” there’s intentionality in everything you see and it’s impossible to miss. Can’t recommend enough

We booked our wedding over a year in advance and from the first few seconds that we stepped in for our tour of the venue, we were in love. Mariesa, our sales manager, was so personable and so accommodating. The entire process leading up to the wedding was so efficient working with Madison. She was so communicative and so easy to work with. All of our changes, questions, recommendations, literally everything - she had an answer to! We always felt so welcomed by the entire staff. Our rehearsal dinner at the Bay Pointe Bar and Grill was beautiful and the staff that night were amazing - they made sure we were doing ok, our family was fed and everyone was having a good time. Lauren, our day of coordinator was excellent at her job. She worked so well with all of our vendors and family. We had the BEST time ever. The value is worth the money you spend. A huge thank you to everyone on the Bay Pointe team who helped us along the way and the weekend of.

We used Venue 1230 to host our wedding reception and we were so happy with how everything went. We would 10 out of 10 recommend this venue to all of our family and friends. Yon and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. The size of the venue itself was one thing that helped seal the deal for us. We had kids and there was more than enough space for them to play while the adults continued to mingle and enjoy themselves. We also highly appreciated how beautifully decorated the whole venue was. We barely had to bring anything in besides our basic table decorations. We had so many guests commenting on how tastefully everything was done. Another thing that I really appreciated was how much Yon and his team cared. They were always asking where they could help or how they could better serve us. At the end of the day, they did everything in their power to make sure that we had a perfect day that we would remember forever.

First off, the all-inclusive aspect of English Inn was perfect. We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, photos, cocktail hour, and reception there - plus our bridal party and immediate family stayed on site! It really took a lot of stress out of the weekend to not have to worry about how to get from A to B. And since the Inn's banquet hall caters the meal and has a bar, that was 2 fewer vendors we had to worry about! Not to mention chairs, tables, linens, etc all provided as well. For two people who aren't familiar with event planning, the English Inn made planning our wedding a breeze! Adriana is amazing as event coordinator, she was always able to answer every question quickly and professionally. The staff was all really friendly and the food was AMAZING! Absolutely no regrets or "what-if"s on our venue choice.

The team was fantastic to work with - very responsive over email and great about answering all our questions during planning. On the wedding day itself, the day-of coordinators and event staff were total pros, running everything smoothly so I could relax and enjoy myself. The Waddell Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. With a great location and reasonable prices, it was an easy choice for us. The space itself is spacious and absolutely beautiful - our guests were blown away by how elegant and well-appointed it was. Everyone at The Waddell Center, especially our coordinator Bre, was so helpful throughout the planning process. Bre answered every question we had and made sure the entire day went as smoothly as possible. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to work with for our special day. Another perk is the parking lot! Anything close to downtown never has appropriate/easy parking and this had more than enough!

We had our wedding New Years Eve 2021, our Rehearsal Dinner and Reception were at The Crowne Plaza Lansing West. It was fun to collaborate with Carlie and Brendan for our Rehearsal Dinner/ Guest Dinner & Reception. We had our Wedding Ceremony in Grand Ledge… which was a midway point for both sides of our families. We had booked the chapel before finding The Crowne Plaza which was only about 10-15mins away. I met with Carlie in August 2021 to start planning our Reception in December 2021 Brendan was added to the team later, he acclimated fast and it was like he was there from the beginning. They worked great as a team, the rest of the staff were great too. I couldn’t have asked for a better team honestly they were so in tuned with us. The team was very accommodating and they went above and beyond to make our day perfect in every way. When looking at other venues in the area they were very expensive, none included onsite catering and we had to find all of our own vendors. It was so refreshing to find The Crowne Plaza Lansing West. We chose the wedding package for the reception and did not have to find separate vendors everything was included except the cake which was done outside but they even made sure they had the contact info for the Bakery to confirm delivery and setup. We did not have to pay a separate room rental fee or separate fees for clean up. I remember calling another hotel and feeling like I had to convince them to do their job or engage in conversation regarding what was offered. Customer service is a gem these days and we received exceptional customer service. The hotel rooms were affordable and newly updated. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous with its new renovations. The lobby is breathtaking. From my initial visit all I could think about is taking pictures in the glass elevator! We took pictures in the lobby by the beautiful Christmas tree, the glass elevator… I had dreams of those pictures after seeing the venue and the pictures were better than I dreamed. We had multiple rooms including the Empress and Presidential suites they were beautiful. I can’t think of any request they did not meet. The catering menu had many options we also had our Rehearsal Dinner at Bordeaux a full bar was offered, we had a custom menu the food and desert were delicious. We had a late night fry bar at the Reception, my mom and close friends still talk about it. The ballroom was amazing! The had smaller conference spaces we switched room sizes and setups so we viewed all of them which could truly accommodate any event. They were very responsive and I loved that Carlie would send me email recaps of our meetings which made it easy to keep track of our plans. From the very first meeting everyone was very personable, friendly and made be very happy to be a customer. Communication was never delayed, they were very responsive to email and if I ever requested a call or in person meet to do a walk through they responded promptly. The last minute odds and ends they volunteered without being asked to help in anyway. My husband wanted to have a small card game in his room after the rehearsal dinner which he mentioned when we arrived, they had already checked us in. Carlie and Brendan came through! The table was set up in his room without a further mention. My husband and I can’t recommend The Crowne Plaza Lansing West enough! If you’re having an event in the Lansing area, I truly urge you to consider The Crowne Plaza you will be glad you did it!
