For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

“The Eclectic Warehouse was the perfect spot for us! There is so much already done with this venue that it makes the set up and tear down process so easy! Aubrey was easy to work with and him and Shari were accommodating any time we requested to stop by. The venue has so much furniture included that we did not need to rent any additional furniture for our wedding. The space is large, open, clean, and makes for beautiful ambiance with the twinkle lights already strung. My husband loved the bourbon barrels and the rustic atmosphere. I’m so happy we booked the Warehouse!”
