About this venue

Loblolly Farm is a special events center with unique structures and landscapes, suitable for numerous events. Over four decades ago, owner Dulari Smith’s father bought Loblolly Farm in Semmes, Alabama. This sprawling, 400-acre property is named after its primary crop; the Loblolly Pine. The land surrounding the alfresco venue park is blanketed with healthy groves of trees creating a tranquil country setting. Over the years the land went through various transformations and now, due to their extraordinary vision, the event venue was created. Loblolly Farm is truly an escape from the noisy city streets, tall buildings and crowds that many other venues must contend with.

The Holly Field

Room to Play.

If room to move in a rustic setting is what your special event needs then The Holly Field is where you wish to be. This three acre corner of lush, green grass lined with beautiful rows of loblolly pines, a pavilion and rustic fence stands alone at Loblolly Farm. The Holly Field has served as the primary event space for rehearsal dinners, employee appreciation events, birthday parties and, much more.

The Sunset Deck

Sunsets at Loblolly Farm are a special time, and Building No. 9 is the perfect venue for relaxing as the sun goes down. Complete with fire pit, ambient lighting, ample seating and nearby restroom facilities, Building No. 9 is the perfect location for rehearsal dinners, corporate mixers and training events, outdoor dinner parties, nature classes and sunrise yoga. The Groom's Room

A private space ideal for hanging out and relaxing while waiting for the ceremony to begin. This space accomodates up to 10 people, seated. Included with this space is air conditioning, ample lighting, and use of the Foundry Barn.

The Bride's Room

Private and luxurious space for the Bride on her special day

The newly constructed space offers comfort and access to the Bride and her Bridal Party for the big day. With direct access to the Lakeside Pavilion, the Bride can prepare for the wedding ceremony and walk right into her wedding.

Lakeside Pavilion

Where country and luxury mingle...

The most premier site at Loblolly Farm offers a gorgeous 3,400 square foot pavilion, vintage light fixtures, and a stairway leading down to the Lakeside Terrace. This location is the perfect setting for a stunning outdoor ceremony, with a beautiful deck on the Lake. This site is perfect for larger weddings and receptions and elegant dinner parties.

    Hands down the best venue to host any event!! The land is so beautiful and there are soooo many places to take photos!! The owner and staff are AMAZING to work with! Forever lining my choice to pick them to host our wedding!
