Her passion for baking was evident in the care she took with every detail, from the perfect cake flavors to the gorgeous sugar flowers decorating it. On delivery day, chatting with Kendall felt like connecting with an old friend thanks to her warm, outgoing nature. Hi, I'm Erin! Girl Loves Cake Desserts started as a side project while I was working full-time as a pastry chef at local restaurants. I started experimenting with macarons to see what the buzz was about and it stuck. The side project has grown into a full-time macaron business. Set up as a made-to-order bakery, I offer pre-order pickup events multiple times a month at my Lakewood kitchen and surrounding businesses.

Girl Loves Cake Desserts provided the baked goods for our wedding and I got so many compliments on how beautiful and delicious they were! The macarons were gone within less than 5 minutes despite having dessert options for more than three times the amount of people there. Our guests loved them and the fact that there were gluten and dairy free options that still tasted amazing for those that needed it. These are the best gluten/dairy free desserts that I have ever tasted. Working with the owner to get exactly what we needed for the day was a joy and she did such a wonderful job every step of the way going above and beyond to help us. We could not be happier with how they turned out and I was so excited when I got to have something sweet on my wedding without getting sick as someone with celiac. I highly recommend this shop, whether for a quick snack or a large order for your event -- the desserts are delicious and adorable.

Baked by Max was so easy to work with and the best tasting cake! They made me a gluten free vegan cake that was even better than gluten cakes! They were able to bring my design for cake to life exactly as I pictured it. Provided a great tasting to help make sure I got just what I wanted. I love their products and will definitely use them more in the future.

A native of Oregon, Megan Bamford found her calling to cuisine when she was just a tot. In July of 2013, she was named Pastry Chef on Team USA, a role in which she will always consider being one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. She believes that cooking with fresh ingredients and having a positive attitude are the most powerful tools in the kitchen. Most recently Megan traded her chef coat for a lab coat and studied Food Science and Micro Biology at Penn State. As of May 2017 Megan finally made her way back to west coast to open Bamford Bakeshop with her family.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Megan and the team at Bamford Bakeshop. They were so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. Megan personally communicated with me very frequently to ensure every detail of our wedding cake was perfect. Even when we had a last minute request, they took it on without hesitation or charging extra. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and delicious - the exterior frosting held up well and the interior was soft and sweet, just as a good wedding cake should be! They truly helped make our wedding day special and I will definitely be recommending Bamford Bakeshop to all my friends and family.
