I began working in a salon doing hair, nails, and make up, including airbrush make up. I worked in a salon for 7 years, a spa for 5 years, and taught in Cosmetology schools. I have found working on location with clients to be the most rewarding. I enjoy making people feel beautiful on their most important days. I’ve been creating Glam and natural Bridal looks for over 3 years and learning the latest trends with makeup in New York. What started as a hobby led me to launch my business as a freelance makeup artist three years ago and I’ve since been certified by Lauren D’amelio, Kryolan Cosmetics and twelve international artists from The Makeup Lovers Conference. I also work with editorial clients creating daring yet on brand looks. I have an upcoming project to execute the makeup vision for an ad campaign in Times Square for ShopYahaira Shapewear. Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.
