“We booked Collins Entertainment for our October wedding at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, CT. We had an unbelievably amazing experience with this company from the top to the bottom. Our DJ, Jared, was exceptional with music selection, a master emcee, was accommodating and seemed to be everywhere at once. My guests left saying he was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding for how many hits he put out. He was able to read the crowd really well, and knew how to get everyone on the dance floor. Jared had battery-powered setups for both the ceremony and reception, so we didn't have to worry about outlets in a remote area outdoors, which was very nice. Our planning sessions with Jim, Mitch, and Jared were comprehensive and they gave us all the tools we needed to succeed. The package price was very reasonable too, and was a leading factor for why we chose them as well. We used their mirror photo booth as well, which was very fun. The mirror booth even came with a long red carpet! The operator, Randall, was very accommodating and helpful with guests, making it fun and easy for everyone. We highly recommend Collins Entertainment!”

“It was love at first sight when I found Blooming Faith Photography on Zola! I was struck by the classic style of the portraits and natural air of those being photographed. It was exactly what I was looking for! Melissa was quick to respond to my inquiry and provided all the info I needed right off the bat. She is detailed and thorough in her correspondence and planning, which I appreciated since we only had 5 months to plan our wedding long distance. She offered an introductory Zoom consultation to discuss our vision for the photos so we could feel at ease leading up to the actual day. When the time came, Melissa was the consummate professional! We did a First Look shoot, and she lead the way completely, to avoid any awkward mishaps and to insure we got the moment captured on our video as well. All of our formal photos were posed beautifully and naturally, and she timed it all perfectly (which was great, because it was quite cold!) She’s also great with kids! “It is hard to put into words the tremendous gratitude I feel for Christina and her team with Lovelace Designs. We had our wedding at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA – a non-conventional space that very rarely holds weddings. There were countless unique aspects of this space we had to consider while planning the event, and it is no exaggeration that Christina executed everything perfectly. In addition to her amazing skills as an event coordinator, she is a kind and friendly person who supported me through all the unforeseen challenges associated with planning your wedding. Christina consistently went above and beyond what was contractually required. One example of this excellent service occurred when we were securing a pipe & drape vendor for our ceremony. Christina actually drove out to Holyoke MA to see the pipe and drape in person since this was a new vendor she had not previously worked with. I am so thankful she took that trip as we realized that vendor could not execute what we envisioned. After describing her concerns to me, she immediately presented me with a solution in the form of another vendor who was able to provide us with exactly what we needed for our space. This is truly just one example of the hundreds of occasions Christina’s customer service was far beyond what we could’ve expected. From the first phone call I had with Christina, I knew that she would be pleasant to work with and up for the challenge. As time went on, I developed a profound appreciation for both her fabulous taste and her special ability to help me take simple ideas and create a seamless theme and elegant design. She was so wonderful to work with, my grandmother hired her to assist with my bridal shower and my mother-in-law also hired her to coordinate the 170-person rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding! Over the past year, Lovelace Design became a beloved part of our celebrations and Christina became an extended member of our family. “We had Emmet and Naomi for our indoor December wedding, the venue was a log cabin style lodge. They were a perfect match and we were so glad we chose them. They learned one of our favorite songs for the opening to our ceremony, playing a beautiful instrumental version of it. Our guests loved the music, that it was accessible for everyone, young and old alike. We had toddlers dancing in front of the band, but the guests seated closest to the band during dinner could still carry on a conversation easily. A lot of people really appreciated this, that they could add ambiance and energy without overpowering you. We especially want to thank them for traveling through the blizzard conditions to be there that weekend. We were hoping for a snowy winter wedding, and we got all the snow we could handle that weekend! On my arrival, parking was easy and there were clear directions made for all attendees. When I arrived I was greeted by Justine, and assisted with my bags by others staffed by Justine to offer helping hands to my work area that was separate, clean, and spacious. My work area had amazing lighting already set up, a chair and table set up, and a personalized gift bag and refreshments waiting for me. I thought that it was above and beyond with service for her vendors. It felt good to work in an environment where I walked in with great impressions, service, and appreciation for my services rendered. I was grateful to have a setup that allowed me to work with ease and comfort. Each person who required makeup had a time slot and was on time and prepped very well. Justine did a wonderful job at making sure everyone was aware of what was going on and where we would be, if working. I appreciated her attentiveness to detail and how through her planning was executed. I also received an itinerary of the event and it was filled with beautiful moments and fun. As an attendee the setup of the event space was gorgeous. There was plenty of refreshments in a spacious and well decorated area. The food was also amazing. I loved the cultural diversity that she offered at her event to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. While I didn’t come knowing many people, because of the events and ice breaker games that we played, I left making many new acquaintances. “Avec L'Amour captured our wedding in June of 2023. We went with Avec L'Amour because we really liked the style and felt the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some of the other videographers out there. We went with the package that included the highlight film and the feature-length film. The audio on the feature-length film is a little tough to hear because of all the background noise, but we were outdoors and in front of a lake, so it’s understandable. While planning for our wedding, we worked directly with John. He had great energy and seemed very prepared every time we interacted with him. However, we never met John in-person because the day before our wedding, he reached out saying he could no longer make it and would be sending a replacement instead. This was understandably very stressful, but fortunately the replacement he sent was awesome. We would have liked to know this update earlier if possible, however we know that’s not always possible, and this was our only complaint in working with him. When John sent us the footage of our wedding, we were so happy with it with the exception of one place where the audio didn’t match up, one place where suddenly the video went purple, and the fact that one of our best man’s speeches was completely left out of the highlight reel; we brought these concerns to John, and he fixed them with no hesitation in a timely manner. Though we can’t review John’s videography or wedding day presence directly, we did have a good experience with his company and would recommend it!”
