We started this business many years ago with not much more than guts and the desire to build our own destiny. We worked long, hard hours, had second jobs and spent many a sleepless night. I sold the parties, and then we’d go in a rented kitchen and make it happen. Luckily those days are far behind us as we have been very blessed, but some things have never changed. West Milford Farm is named for Lightner West, who built the historic home around 1900 and the Milford family, who have lived here since the 1930s. West Milford Farm is an award-winning events facility conveniently located in East Cherokee County, just north of the city of Milton. The property is assembled around the original folk Victorian farmhouse and six historic outbuildings including: Original barn dating to the late 1800s Glass greenhouse, built from reclaimed windows from a local cotton mill Beautifully renovated reception barn Original 1890s corn crib. The reception barn boasts a brand new catering kitchen with granite counter tops, air conditioned handicapped accessible restrooms with bridal dressing room and a huge brick fireplace as the centerpiece in our large banquet barn.

Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve is 46 Acres of forested woodland trails, ravines, gardens and historic buildings. We provide a unique setting for weddings, receptions, anniversary celebrations, and more! The arrangement of our historic buildings forms a small historic village for a charming wedding venue. You can have your ceremony in the old Warsaw Church or under the canopy of the forest on the Amphitheatre and host your reception just a short stroll away in the Summerour House or Pole Barn. Rental fees are used for the continuing preservation of Autrey Mill’s natural environment and history, to provide educational programming, and to operate the preserve.

It includes a catering kitchen, bridal suite, and built-in bench seating facing Ponce de Leon Avenue and the Atlanta Beltline. Bar Packages available separately and must be provided by our team. Capacity: 400 standing guests / approximately 220 seated guests! Our second wedding area, the Roebuck Room, is a versatile space located in the iconic water tower that rises above the rooftop.
