Helen at Brookledge was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding!! From our very first interaction, the whole team was communicative, helpful, and really kind. The venue itself has a completely magical vibe, and was the perfect space for our forest wedding in the trees. I had originally hoped to get married in the redwoods in CA, but the The Camp Chapel (one option for a ceremony space) was the absolute next best thing. Helen went above and beyond throughout the weekend (even printed my updated vows last minute!!) to ensure everything ran smoothly, and everyone's attention to detail made our wedding day feel more magical than we could have ever dreamed of!! We are so grateful to Helen and the whole Brookledge team -- if you love glamping and want to get married in the trees -- THIS IS THE VENUE FOR YOU!! 1000/10 recommend! (Just because there isn't another public place to leave this, if you go with Brookledge, as you 10000% should!! don't choose Jake Allen as your DJ - just use another recommended vendor for music! )

Rustic Pines was an absolute dream of a venue, thank you all SO much! From the very beginning of my wedding planning process, Steph and the Rustic Pines team really stood out. When researching and contacting venues, they were not only the only venue to reach back out same day, but also the only one that actually seemed interested in helping me achieve my dream wedding. Steph was available by text or call literally any time of day or night for random wedding questions, planning, or inspiration. She was always open and interested in what I had to suggest and was nothing but positive and encouraging every time. Some of the things that Steph did for us that made this process SO much smoother were cocktail tastings, decor trials, and she even put together all of the reception florals that I bought in bulk! She always had an answer to my questions and if she didn’t, she would find out without worry. As for the day of the wedding, Steph and the Rustic Pines team had the ceremony and reception space completely set up and decorated for us without us having to lift a finger. I was welcomed into the bridal suite with a gift, a good playlist, and mimosas ready to drink! Steph was available all morning to grab us anything we needed and even made us coffee. She welcomed and coordinated with our vendors to ensure they were set up in the proper areas and that they were ready to go. The ceremony and reception coordination went very well and was completely handled by the Rustic Pines team. Wedding planning is no easy task and I couldn’t have done it without Stephanie! Other things to note: the lawn was IMMACULATE and the entire venue makes for beautiful photos. The gravel driveway was of no concern for our guests and the rustic pines team had a golf cart for any guests who would be in need of assistance getting to the ceremony space. They were extremely accommodating to anything I may have needed and I would choose Rustic Pines over and over again!

Hotel Saranac was such a lovely venue to host our welcome dinner for our wedding weekend. We booked the grand ballroom for the event. We were a little worried about the space being a little big for our group but the staff helped add in some additional furniture to soften the space. We were given the space from 2PM - 10PM which allowed us time to set up earlier before going to our rehearsal and coming back for the event. All the tables, plates/silverwear, furniture, etc were set-up already before we arrived at 2:30PM to add our little pieces of decor. We chose the Hot Sara Buffet Ampersand Option which comes with: a leefy green salad with cucumbers, feta, craisins and a honey vinagrette, a choice a two entrees (we chose chicken piccata in a lemon caper sauce and Seared Salmon with maple, soy and ginger glaze) and three sides (we chose sautéed haricots verts, red bliss garlic mashed potatoes and Long Grain and wild rice pilaf. The buffet dinner also was served with dinner rolls and whipped butter and an assorted cookies and dessert bar display. Everything was delicious. Both entrees flavors were perfect. Everyone raved about the salmon. Blake, the venue coordinator, was so great throughout the whole process with any questions we had. We ended up using 4 tables with about 6 people at each and connected them all to make one long table. We are so happy with how everything turned out. Thank you to all the staff at hotel Saranac that supported our event. :)

Wow! We got married on 8/16/2025 and still cannot stop talking about how incredible our wedding day/weekend was. Alex and Maureen are top notch. From the first conversation to the last, they always treated us as if we were their only customer and if you know GA, you know they have LOTS of weddings. To have support from two professionals throughout a huge and expensive event, means the world. They were so accommodating, always quick to respond, got to know us, were present the entire wedding day (even helping serve appetizers), and always checking in. What really made a huge impression, was how busy GA was on our wedding day but how in the moment our wedding began, it felt like time stood still for us. Every guest stopped in their tracks, was beyond respectful, quiet and stood back and away from the north lawn. It was amazing how truly beautiful and perfect it was. Now… the food. WOW!!! Huge portions and INCREDIBLE food! Guests have not stopped talking and raving about it all - from the charcuterie board to the sliders, arancini balls, filet, etc., it was all the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding. Drinks… GREAT!!! No lack of alcohol here. Old fashions were made by hand, not a pre mix. We truly were blown away from start to finish. BOOK GOLDEN ARROW!!!! Thank you so much for the best experience, staff, accommodations and simply being the best.

I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".
