Our rustic facility is the perfect choice for barn weddings near Des Moines. Our property is also just 19 minutes away from Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. Our venue features a large, welcoming fireplace, exposed knotty pine hardwood, rustic beams, corrugated steel, and incandescent lighting that casts a warm, inviting glow. We welcome our guests to bring in the vendors of their choice. A catering room, accommodations for a band/DJ, and a bride and groom lounge are all available. Our event space is perfect for Baby showers, Bridal showers, and small receptions. What started as a photo studio for the Farmhouse Photography crew, became a venue dream when the owner found a stunning historical location nestled in the heart of Olde town Altoona Iowa. Built in 1900, this gorgeous space went under some minor renovations to allow an open floor plan, ample light, and lots of farmhouse chic charm. We look forward to serving our bridal shower groups here in our brand new space!
